My spiny flower is currently mid molt and I was not expecting her to TRIPLE in size from her very first molt with me. She seems to big for her current enclosure but to small for the one I originally bought for her. Do I need to get an in between size or will she do in either of these?
Upgraded my babies tank for more climbing and natural behaviors he’s got two hides one on either end made of excavator clay compacted around fat pvc tubes, he has a brick to run on for his femoral pores, and multiple climbing and basking surfaces
I have to use a bit of silicone caulk on the window in the same room I keep my inverts and reptiles in and I know that it off gasses while curing and I’m concerned it could potentially bother the inverts should I remove them from the room until it’s cured or will they be okay?
Photo for tax (let me know if I used the wrong tag) I’ve only had a “rescue” before and it was a large mantis who was being hurt by a group of asshole kids and couldn’t hunt properly by herself, o hand fed her dubias, crickets and mealworms and would feed her when she was down at the bottom of her tank which was about once every week or so. This guy is TEENY TINY and should be able to hunt themselves how many fruit flies should I toss in there? I’ve never fed someone this tiny other than my regal jumping spider who would go for crickets that were about his size. This girls about the size of a dime, haven’t fed her yet as I’ve only had her for 2 days, should I pre kill some other crickets for her (I do this for juvenile tarantulas) or should I just toss in a little pile of fruit flies and hope for the best (yall edit: I know it’s a spiny flower mantis I had a brain fart typing this 😭)
