Found a 10lb chunk of Chetco Jasper on the Oregon coast in Brookings a few months back. First real big project I've done with it. First time leaving a bit of the tang exposed outside the rock, and I love how it looks!

A couple live edge cabs I finished up today. A Montana agate and a Laguna agate.
A big batch of customs I've been working on! Mostly Polychrome jasper, with some Oregon Sunset jasper, and Gary Green jasper. I love the scenes and colors that come from Polychrome. One of my top favorites!
Some semi-orby Blue Mountain Jasper I've been working on! A customer sent in a big chunk of rough. I've been slabbing and cabbing it over the last week or so. Here's the first batch finished!
The customer said her and her daughter picked the rough chunk together, so they're excited to get a big batch of cabs back from it!
A bunch of fresh cut cabs ready for a $20 Tuesday sale tonight! Mostly all Oregon materials, with the exception of Polychrome Jasper, Blue Lace agate, and a couple Laguna Lace agates.

The closest disc I have to it, is a cicada with a pretty high dome. Looking for any info out there! Completely unmarked other than the Drew Gibson logo.
Any Vistaite fans out there!? Such a great material that came out of Central Oregon in the 70's. Definitely a top favorite of mine from this area, and arguably one of the best picture jaspers out there!

First time working with this material! Super fun stuff. Similar to working with Obsidian, but a bit easier.
Got a few finished up today! Still can't get over the blue/green obsidian on the bottom row.
Starting on another batch of rainbow obsidian today. Some blue velvet, some blue/purple, and of course, more of the green from my last post!

Been loving this bike around Central Oregon! Picked it up for a grand from my cousin. Still trying to dial in the jetting for this area. I think I need to go a bit leaner. Anyone ride around the 3500-4k elevation and end up with a 52/155? Typical mods already done, Dave's, exhaust, uni filter, snorkel deleted.
By far the best chunk of Gary Green Jasper I've cut into! Just another amazing material that comes from Southern Oregon! I truly believe Oregon has some of the best materials to offer.
Working on the best slab of Oregon Sunset jasper I've ever had! Also some epic Rainbow Obsidian with some blue-green flashes. Last 2 are Maury Mountain Moss agates from Central Oregon.
