Heavy duty UK Plug replacement.

Hi I have been charging with this heavy duty extension from toughleads for about 4 years now. Last Thursday though I came down to my ID3 fully charged, went to unplug the cable from the outdoor socket and it was stuck fast. Got it out and the plug had melted on the right hand pin.

I'm going to repair the entension but wondering if there are any recommended plugs for use with granny charging.

I'm also getting the outdoor socket replaced so recommendations for that too if you have any. Will also get a quote for a proper ev charger but it may not be feasible with my house set up or just very costly.

New key fob

Had my ID3 just over a month and loving it.

It onky came with 1 key though so thinking of getting a second key.

Has anyone got one recently and how much was it. Don't fancy spending nearly £400 a with VW if I can avoid it, will of course if that's the onky option.

Yea link cordless phones.

I've been pulling my hair out all day with this one so you guys are my last hope.

We have a few cordless yealinks around the office most seem to be the w70b base and w73h handsets, all are working. Followed some instructions in Yealink site and updated firmware to sip compatibile versions.

There is one unit that is a w70b base and w74h handset. The base has updated firmware but the handset came with the latest firmware, though I have tried flashing it again. This handset does have the teams login button, though it appears in the settings menu instead of on the homescreen. When you press the sign in option it just goes back to the homescreen of the phone, just can't get it to give the logon page and code.

Does this phone simply not work with teams is it a bug or am I missing something?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Currently on a variable tarrif with home energy paying 20.9p for electric and 47.62 for the standing charge.

I'm looking at either sticking with what i have, going to Octopus Agile or maybe EDF go.

We have 2 EVs not mini cooper 52kwh and ID3 58kwh but no EV charger as run to the drive is a nightmare so using the granny charger on both cars currently charge 3 days a week normally over night till when ever the cars finish.

My wife works from home and I do a couple of days a week, so can do washing machine dishwasher and dryer in the day time and be quite agile.

Still worried though about it actually costing more.

We are in the north west, is the standing charge 49p here?

So yesterday bought this 88k mile id3. Had a long drive back from the garage I bought it from and it was a nice experience.

Couldn't find out what software it was on till I got home and was able to sign in to the car it's on 3.2.

Only realised it didn't have the locking wheel nut key in the boot when I got back and no puncture kit.

Car was £10395 from v12 sports and classics, the guys were OK to deal with had the usual hard sell for warranty and other additions. I did go for the warranty only.

There are a few small chips on the paint but pretty good overall. Happy with the purchase.
