Sign up for my new comic creating workshops ‘Creating Comics: Page Turner I’ and Creating Comics: Page Turner II’, at Richmond Hill Public Library (Ontario, Canada) starting today!

These are for amateur comic creators (teens 15+) with actionable steps to excel your comic story beyond the basics with insider techniques and guidance on everything from worldbuilding to storytelling. I’ll be joined by comic creator Fell Hound! Attendees are encouraged to bring their work-in-progress comics!

This is open to people in and outside of Richmond Hill.

Designed for emerging creatives, recent graduates, and job seekers looking to stand out, this workshop will cover effective networking, personal branding, interview preparation, pitching and presentation skills, and creating compelling résumés and portfolios. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies and industry-informed advice to help them navigate the creative job market with confidence.

I’ve tried everything I can think of and can’t see it, but can see the margin/live area. Can anyone shed some light?

This is for a comic book page—my sleep deprived brain may have messed up, but I think this is correct:

Page size: 6.825” X 10.5”

Trim: 6.625” X 10.25”

Margin / Live area: 0.25”

Bleed: 0.125”
