Do You Know Anyone Surrounded by Negative Energy?

I don’t want to say possessed but most of my life my devout and overly Catholic mother seems to be a ball of negative energy. I could on and on but some examples: anytime I spend any time with her I get violently ill afterwards. My brother, who was forced to stay with her in her small house for a few years got diagnosed with cancer. Stage 3. Once out of her house and thanks to modern medicine made a complete recovery. She speaks bad things into being. Like the most random shit into being and it’s never anything positive. “Oh your going camping? Don’t get alpha gal!” And guess who got bit by a tick and has alpha gal now? “Dont get that covid shot! It will fuck you up!” Guess who got fucked up? She’s obsessed with death and dying. When she came to visit my new house for the first time she says “there are ghosts here”. The second time she came to visit a bottle of lotion went flying across the room. “See…ghosts”. Another time she came to visit she brought it up again and our alarm system random went off. We now have a new rule that when she visits she’s not allowed to speak about ghosts. Been in the house for ten years and that’s the only shit that has happened when living here. It’s bizarre. Am I crazy to think she’s haunted? Is that a thing? Does anyone else have similar experiences? Thanks.

Wegman’s For the Win

Living in the middle of nowhere America gluten free products are really not a thing. Every grocery story in a 100 mile radius all have the same set up: a five foot section of shelving with 10 different products. And the only restaurant I go to is a Mexican one that has a chicken soup. Well, I’m recently out of town in a bigger city and walked into a Wegmans and I’m just stunned/thrilled/happy…and also pissed(more on that in a second) and allllllllllllll the options of gf products. Fresh baked goods, pizzas, subs..BEER!? And it’s all amazingly good. I ate and consumed all I’ve bought so far and 24 hours later I’m feeling great. I’m jealous that there are people with this access 24/7 and here I am stuck eating the same 2 things every day…90% of my meals are ones I make….which is so time consuming and a hassle. So if you live near a Wegmans consider yourself lucky. I’m going back today to stock up.

“WTF is This?” 🤣

I’m always fascinated about people’s preferences and tastes…even amongst us ponders. A few weeks ago I cleared my pond out after three years of neglect due to medical reasons. Not wanting to toss all these plants in my compost bin I put them on facebook marketplace. A guy came by to buy some and took one look at my pond and said “what the fuck is this man?” I asked what he meant. “Nah man…not my thing….my pond is a perfect rectangle…crisp clear lines…not like……this”. He wasn’t rude or anything but seemed shocked I too didn’t have a perfect square of a pond. But I too forget those ponds exist and I equally find them weird but to each their own. Does anyone else have a similar experience? Oh here’s a picture of my “wtf pond”🤣
