Hey all, never been to Texas and looking forward to my first trip. I think I have narrowed down the three places that would be a good fit for my short weekend get away. I'l looking for walkability to the greater downtown area, more centrally located to some of the better restaurants and nightlight Austin has to offer. See below for the three places I have identified and feel free to tear it apart of offer up better options. I prefer to stay with smaller boutique hotels, but am open to other options if you think I am going down the wrong path. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have!
- Hotel 1: Hotel Magdelena
- Hotel 2: The Loren
- Hotel 3: The Drisklill

I'm leaning towards the Driskill, but can be swayed otherwise by those of you more familiar.

Traveling from out of town to Dallas for a work trip and booked a car to drive down and spend a couple days in Austin to explore the food scene. I've been doing some research and came up with the below for the little time I do have. Let me know if there are options you would sub or remove. Would love any feedback you all may have. Thanks!
