Since reservations announced, I’ve seen countless posts like:

• “I got my purchase email… not sure if I should buy it.”
• “I bought it, but I’ve changed my mind.”
• “It’s already shipping, but I’m contacting Steam Support to cancel because I'm having a midlife crisis.”
• “I renovated my kitchen, so I’ll just let my purchase link expire.”

I honestly don’t know whether some of these posts are real, fake, or just rage bait. But what I do know is that there are a huge number of people here who genuinely want this machine and haven’t received a single purchase email. Many of us probably won’t for months.

If you are not 100% sure you’re going to buy something, don’t reserve it.

Every reservation from someone who was never committed slows the queue for people who actually want the device. It’s frustrating that we’re well past June 29, and many of us are still sitting here refreshing our inboxes with no idea when our turn will come.

I’m not blaming people who had a genuine change in circumstances. Life happens. But seeing so many “I don’t know if I even want it anymore” posts while thousands of people are desperately waiting is incredibly frustrating.
