Hello everyone! I found this lamp in the basement of my workplace (a local cafe) and asked the owner if I could take it home, she said yes but was confused because it's obviously very damaged.
Maybe I'm crazy but I really want to try to restore it.
I am completely green, and have no experience in this so forgive me for possibly asking stupid questions.
I think the lamp is SO beautiful and it still works too! It seems like it's some sort of stained glass bond / bendy wire type pieces on the broken side.
I was thinking maybe I can cut some glass pieces to fit the holes, and somehow meld them to fit the frame. I actually have a friend who does stained glass and she has the tools for that.... but I wanted to ask here first if it's even possible?
What do you guys think?
just sharing, thanks for looking 🤎
sometimes you just have an idea in your head and all your responsibilities and commitments can WAIT. 🙃
