I am a mid-level designer with just over 10 years of experience. I’ve been mostly in-house, brand application/production for very large companies. My resume and portfolio are solid (not going to share), but yea, I lack all of the flashy, creative campaign-mockup work because the seniors always get those opportunities.

I know they say the senior position is all about how you present your work, problem solving and defending your decisions.

How the heck do I show I can do that type of high level work and talk to it, without any real time experience? Do I just make up personal projects? I know the market is tough rn. Any tips from fellow mids?

If you are upset, complained about, or your health has been affected, (all of us, this is going to last a while) about the Canadian wildfires, your vote matters.

“but ItS cAnADaS fAuLt” sure it’s their fault, their government’s fault. Defunding forest protections and regulations.

Tom Tiffany once said, “I will freeze property taxes, protect our farmland from communist China, and I'll preserve our Wisconsin values," Tiffany said in a campaign video. "Common sense will win because we cannot let Minnesota's madness and Illinois' insanity take over here in Wisconsin."

This is a loaded, vague, and paranoid comment. I would argue that Wisconsin values our lush forests, our family vacations up north, swimming, hunting and fishing in the amazing north woods.

These fires are close to us. Embers travel, the smoke is devastating. Do not vote Tiffany. I am very willing to pay more in taxes, if those taxes go to protecting our forests and livelihoods.

Tiffany says climate change is “doomsdaying”. Well so is his comment about communist china, MN and IL. Come on guys, let’s do something with the rights we have.

Ok yall. After about 18 years of smoking, I’m ready to quit. Done. I’ve tried quitting 5 times, maybe more. I don’t smoke in my car at all and probably was averaging 2 a day for last 2 years. Give me your tips and tricks. Alcohol is definitely a trigger for me. Going cold turkey. Any suggestions or positive vibes encouraged!
