The tool used to measure feet and the special stools the sales person sat on must have made it a special shopping experience. Kind of like getting a shoe shine but better.
Intersection of Hesperian and Middle Lane around 1 pm and the guy on the electric bike riding at about 20 mph on the side walk tries to beat a red light. It was definitely a red light for him before he entered the intersection. He ran into a car's right side that was about to accelerate. Guy did a somersault and hit the pavement on his back gracefully. I found it quite entertaining and a lesson to be patient and look around before entering an intersection.
It was really distracting to be reminded of my own mortality
Not a drastic as the Oppenheimer conundrum where your work is killing people, but what about the people who work in health insurance or call centers that scam people. I'm on the fence with this one. On one hand this might be the only way they can make a living but on the other they are making society worse. Thoughts?
Edit: I think I'm getting down voted because the answer is obvious. I posted this because its easier said then done.
I got a dumb question because I haven't written a check in a decade. I was in a hurry and I wrote this contractor a check for $350 but I was really sloppy with my signature. The checkbook I have is from over a decade ago. Will the bank honor the check or find it suspicious?
Darn cats keep pooping in my garden and singing karaoke at night. To silence them I put in audio devices that I thought weren't audible to humans. Neighbors disagree. What's a better solution?
Pretty sure there's just one orange tom cat that keeps reproducing. I'm going to set a trap with lasagna in it and get it neutered.
