Need some financial advice from experienced folks here 🙏📈

Current situation:

💰 Portfolio: ~₹55L

💸 Margin funds: ~₹10L

➡️ Total exposure: ~₹65L

📅 Monthly SIP: ₹1.5L

But honestly… last year’s returns really disappointed me 😅 and with rising oil prices ⛽ + global uncertainty 🌍, I don’t feel very bullish about the next 6–8 months either.

I’m personally not expecting great returns from equities or mutual funds in the near term 📉

At the same time, I have:

🚗 Auto loan: ~₹12L remaining

📆 Tenure: 6 years total (1 year completed)

💵 Interest rate: 8%+

Now I’m confused 🤔

Should I:

1️⃣ Continue the ₹1.5L SIP and stay invested for the long term 📈

OR

2️⃣ Pause/reduce SIP temporarily and aggressively close the auto loan to save guaranteed 8%+ interest 💯

Part of me feels that clearing debt gives a guaranteed return + peace of mind 😌

But another part says timing the market is risky and long-term investing should continue 🫠

Would love to hear what you guys would do in this situation 🙌

Especially from people who’ve faced similar decisions during uncertain markets 🙏
