OPS positions being eliminated

I have it on excellent authority that all our ops are being eliminated and offered positions as either ASD or department managers. I have no idea what the plan is to replace the labor they were doing. Does this mean they were redundant the whole time? Or is Safeway about to take a huge dive because they eliminated a critical position. I guess we'll find out

seeing all of the disappointed Mother's day posts

i am cringing and feeling sad for so many women today. husbands who couldn't arrange even a trader joes bouquet and a day off from responsibility for their bride.

Can anyone suggest a good attorney?

hi all! hope this is allowed. my grandmother was recently diagnosed with pretty catastrophic alzheimers; she is not expected to be able to perform any actions of daily living soon, and is already a danger when left alone. the problem is that she has no legal representative but it would likely come down to her addict son who lives with her, and the almost inevitable reality is that he is going to take financial advantage and not organize any real care for her. my grandmother's only responsible child lives in a different continent and has asked me to procure an attorney so that we can safeguard grandma's assets against theft and dementia informed decisions, and set up a trust for her care. can anyone please suggest the right kind of lawyer for this, and absolutely any other suggestions pertaining to the topic of caring for an alzheimers patient are most welcome. i don't have a lot of access to this part of my family, so the best i can do is engage the right people to help.

thank you so much!

edit:
i am so grateful for every single response! thank you all!!
