Free stihl ms172 I found on the curb during trash day. Had a note that said it didnt work... chain was on backwards! 🤦♂️ Its a pretty weak saw, doesnt even have metal dogs on it, but one I'll keep in the truck and should be good to hike around with and brush trails. Looks brand new, chain was still sharp, just on the wrong way. Rich HOA trash days are my bread and butter.

Gas station beer here in rural TN was ruined for me ever since I got my hands on Dunkel. I've had to start ordering crates through the local liquor store since its hard to find otherwise. Any reccomendations for something that might be easier to come across? Starting to really appreciate german beer so anything in the same vein would be nice.

Someone went after the poor thing with a grinder, but it was only a few dollars so I'm going to try and save it and at least use it as a shop knife. I can make out "C.W Dahlgren and Eskilstuna but not the third line of text. Any idea how old it could be? I couldnt find a logo exactly like it. Should I restore it or leave it alone?
Is there a good way to clean up this old hard hat? The leather headband is starting to deteriorate so I might need a replacement. I was thinking of removing the stickers since theyre barely hanging on and look old. Its a Superlite by Fibre Metal. Any ideas on age? I think its anodized aluminum.
I look through old RV's that come in the junkyard, sometimes I find cast iron, dishes, loose tools, and the like. Found this little guy in an old winnebago chieftan and cleaned it up. Anyone know who made hatchets for sears?
Craftsman 1071 I picked up at a flea market booth for 8 bucks. Scraped the handle and kept the original stain, wire wheeled the hardware, and gave the dull paint and wood a coat of linseed oil. I usually do more in depth restorations but I liked the patina on this one. Should be a good user!
Found this blubber axe in an antique store today. Must be 6 or 8 pounds with a one piece solid iron handle. Would it be worth picking up for ~ 200 bucks? Seems steep but I've also never seen one before.
I picked up this "champion" brand michigan at a flea market for 10 bucks. It caught my eye because I've never seen phantom bevels with squared off shoulders before. Doing some research online it looks similar to a really old kelly perfect minus the fancy etching. Does anyone have any information or a possible date for this axe?
