Wood roach or German?
Long Island, NY. We’ve been getting a lot of wood roaches in our house whcih look like German, but the other tenant in my building also saw some German roaches recently (exterminators have been treating the whole home).

I‘m hoping to reduce my nasal hump. It’s not big but it drives me crazy. I‘m scared of fillers but also terrified of anesthesia. Ultrasonic surgeries sound pricy! What would you suggest for a *minimal* rhinoplasty?
Found this fella already deceased on a shelf. Just snapped this one photo. It looks to be the approximate size and color of a german roach, but someone assured me it’s a non-infesting Mediterranean. Something I notice is that the directions of the grooves on the wings more resemble Mediterranean, or tawny. Wish I got a better pic of the head before chucking. Thoughts?
Is this definitely a German roach or is there a chance it’s just a tawny fella?
I moved into an apartment three months ago and literally move-in day we find a roach. We searched drawers and crevices and found some dead ones. Exterminator came the next day and sprayed IGR/Gentrol, and we applied gel bait. Now my downstairs neighbors (it’s a two family home) are in the process of moving out and we found a dead one out on a shelf in our unit today. I’m not convinced the downstairs tenants haven’t had roaches (they told the landlord they weren’t sure) - I suspect they just ignored the problem. I keep my apartment super clean and clutter-free. How would you interpret the dead roach? Any advice I can communicate to my landlord?
I work for Octave as a remote psychotherapist (NY) and the rate I agreed to upon being hired is only the payout rate for one to two insurances they use that happens to be the highest. There are insurances they use for which they pay half that rate. I was recently told it’s in the contract that I can’t “opt out” from specific insurances they want me to panel with that have a significantly lower payout rate - despite Octave paneling me with more and more insurances for which they pay abysmal rates. Is this standard for online therapy platforms?
I am considering moving to an apartment that is in a two family home. The shared areas with the downstairs tenants include: the entryway; our home is an immediate left up the stairs, their home is an immediate door just a few feet from the front door, and (2) the basement; we are all allowed to store things down there and access it freely. Landlord described the tenants as trustworthy, long-term renters but obviously things can change. I am a young mom and not actually concerned about my safety in this environment; my feeling is, crime happens any where. That being said, should I have any concerns? Would this be a deal-breaker for you? Should I request safety cameras? Thanks in advance.
