Long stpry short, I was waoting for my train to arrive at the Zürich HB (Zurich main station). Then I was so bored that I was trainspottking there, and suddenly I saw the beautiful light and the Astoro. I made a picture, but suddenly two people walked in. I asked them if it was ok if they were on the picture and they did not care at all. Now I will send this to the SBB and hope they will use it in one of their ads!
Oh boy, three hours of train to get the tuba and 3 hours back home... Everyone in the train wanted me to play and so I did. But only 2 minutes.
Also, even tho it is a Eb Tuba, this boy is THICC and HUUUGEEE (10kg and 99cm tall!). It plays very well with a James Gourlay 1 Mouthpiece from Stomvi.

I am selling it because I lack money. I also had to sell my 7 other instruments. I had to quit a deal with someone who sold a Eb Tuba. I am very sad to pause this wonderful hobby for the moment... This hobby helped me so much, especially emotionally.

UPDATE: I was able to recover the Besson tenor horn again as the buyer told me he'd give me back the instrument and I could keep the money too. I will never forget this guy, he'll stay in my musical history 🫡

I have been so excited to finally be able to see a Bf109 in person and even touch one! I also touched a P-51 for the first time, even tho I saw them multiple times flying.

It's a rare A.Pini Eb Tuba in good condition, the valves work and it doesn't have any leaks! I was able to test play it and I will pick it up very soon for 250 bucks and a 3 hour train ride.
