Hey all, been seeing a lot of posts about people looking for LGBTQIA+ affirming churches or do not like in-person churches. I wanted to share my church’s page in case anyone is interested in online services!
Restore Austin is a LGBTQIA+ affirming, nondenominational, progressive Christian church lead by Zach Lambert in the Austin, TX area. They post live services every Sunday and they can be re-viewed if you miss one which is great for us neurodivergent people or if you are just busy.
Also if you like reading progressive Christian literature, Zach has written a great book called “Better Ways to Read the Bible”. Highly recommend even if you are not a Christian.

I wanted to make a decal for my car that outwardly displays that I am a progressive Christian but I feel like the cross symbol is over-used or can be associated with conservatism. But I like the idea of maybe a cross with a progressive flag inside of it OR I really like the Christogram of the Chi-Rho (☧) symbol in maybe like rainbow or with the progressive flag overlayed. Interested in what people think on how it would be interpreted on the road? Thought about a Coexist sticker but i’ve heard things about those being strongly disliked.
