Just a local resource

Just as an FYI, Target has Bambu filament.

I don’t wanna hear how it’s more expensive, or Chinese made, or whys it got spiders on the boxes. If you run outta filament and can’t wait…they’ve got their basic PLAs.

Thought Experiment: Access 97 databases and updates

So at my job we have Access databases that are ranging from 97 to 2003 (and newer?), probably 500+ of them over the course of 30’ish years.

I’ve been brought in to start migrating these to a newer technology(.NET, PowerPlatform, Blazor, etc). I know what our approach is going to be, but curious about the reasoning the community.

Some of these are going to be straightforward data migration + PowerAutomate flows, some are going to be super involved…what would your process look like?

Is the M1 MacBook Air not enough for dev anymore?

I know this is kind of a moot question since I'm going to pickup my new MacBook Pro tomorrow, but I'm trying to do some dev on my M1 Air that I have and it's almost like XCode is dragging horribly through any canvas rendering, and deploying to the simulator.

I'm going to be mad I waited this long to upgrade aren't I?

.Net on macOS

I’m a .Net developer, and at home I use a MacBook Air… I can’t compile .NET projects for x86 on macOS, right?! Only ARM…yeah?

I do .NET Core at home, but need to step back into Framework…not really a way to do that, no?

Squirrel vs. Raccoon vs. Bear

So, through the day I have squirrels, at night raccoons, and the other day this guy showed up. Is there anyway I can filter rules for animal types?

I want to set off the siren for raccoons, but not for squirrels or birds…anyway to do this?

All of a sudden I’ve had this issue with my A1 that diagonal printing (first layer) bubbles up like the image above. I’ve tried a few things.

Wash build plate, flip build plate, swap nozzles, swap filaments, clean all around the build plate and z axis screws, lubricated the rails, recalibrated the printer, did a cold pull, put a needle through the nozzle…

I’m lost. Is this software related? How can I get straight lines perfect, circles perfect, and this garbage?

Does this look good for a layout?

On a breadboard I have everything wired up and working, but now want to move to perfboard…I’ll have an 18650 wired up off board.

What am I missing? Don’t know?
