Im looking for a Viking romance! 🛡️⚔️ I know a lot of Viking romances tend to be bodice rippers/older books, but I just struggle with the old-school writing style. I’d really prefer something with a more modern writing style.

I’d also prefer a Viking/Norse historical setting with low fantasy or no fantasy. I’m totally fine with Norse mythology, beliefs, gods, rituals, omens, etc. being part of the story since that’s obviously tied into the culture and setting. I just don’t want it to turn into a heavily fantasy-based romance with magical powers, supernatural creatures, etc.

🔥 High spice is a must! I’ve actually been surprised by how many Viking romances I’ve found that aren’t very spicy, so I’m specifically looking for something with a lot of on-page spice. 😂 I need the Vikings to be bringing the HEAT!

📖 First-person POV is strongly preferred!

Some things I’d be VERY happy to find:
• Size difference 👀
• from different clans
• Pregnancy
• Breeding/strong desire for an heir
• Arranged marriage/forced marriage
• Possessive or morally gray MMC
• Darker/intense themes
• Savage 🦆ing 😂
• Exhibitionism 👀
