🗣 Deworming is VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Round tummy aise hi nahi hota hai!!!

I gave my 200 gram kittens 0.2ml of Feli-D Syrup and its been two days of me pulling out worms from their butts 🤧🤧 My vet is laughing at my troubles 😅

They have roundworms. They've lost around 10grams post deworming, should I be worried 🤔

Something I learned about breeders in the pet industry....

So, I used to work at a local petshop for like 4 years, and you get to learn alot of stuff there, retail, customer stories, pet parent behaviour, cat info, dog info.

And Breeder info.

So, one of the most popular beliefs and breeder ka exploitation supreme side hustle, which I found to be the height of disgusting, greedy behaviour is supposedly selling cat placenta's after birth...which is considered lucky and money magnet to some religious households.

These religious households can even pay upto Rs. 80,000 to buy the placenta. And my colleagues were talking about one breeder in Mumbai area, who became rich only by selling placenta from all his breeding.

It's even available for purchase on amazon, listed as Billi is Jer, can you believe it. There's a whole world out there that we don't know of 😷

I just find it such a sad way to keep exploiting mother cats....like you're selling her babies, you will sell her and didn't even spare the placenta...

Good Cat Sterilisation Experience in Thane City 😺

Hello, I am a cat rescuer / feeder from Manpada. I catch strays and send them to CPCA for surgeries usually.

My foster cats who are up for adoption, are usually operated at PetVets clinic in Manpada, they don't offer post operative care, but all my cats have always recovered well, doctors are attentive and always in touch for follow up checks.

Recently, a friend recommended Ripper's Yard for spay and neuter surgeries that are quick, painless and neat. So I decided to try. Within this month I got 3 males and one female neutered and spayed at Ripper's Yard. Dr. Kush Aswani did the neuters himself and Dr. Mandar Gaukar, a special travelling surgeon from Badlapur joined for spaying surgery.

Male costed, Rs. 5000 and the female costed Rs. 10,000 - they are all pet cats who are fostered for adoption purpose. The male cats recovered within 1 day, they didn't even know any surgery was conducted. Anesthesia was given in the right amount, cat woke up in the clinic 15 mins post surgery, surgery was quick. Dr. Kush ensures the cat is awake and mostly concious before we can leave the clinic.

Female surgery was also quick, Dr. Mandar specially visits from Badlapur for the surgery. He made a small, neat incision, it was around 2 to 3 cms only. No bleeding at all at the incision site post surgery. The cat was a monster, cone collar, surgery suit was not working out, she was dancing by evening despite anesthesia and painkillers, Drs put a strong, sticky bandaid. She bit off the bandaid, but she couldn't mess up the stitches at all.

I personally made sure to take a look at the organs removed as proof of surgery 👍🏻

I would totally recommend Ripper's Yard for surgeries, if you want a smooth post operative experience for your indoor pet.

Here's my go-to list for choosing best medical services for community animals and pets in Thane / Nearby:

● Consultations & Diagnosis: CentralVets

● Sonographies: CentralVets

● Viral Infection Treatment: CentralVets

● General Checkups: PetVets

● Vaccinations: PetVets

● Spaying Surgeries: Ripper's Yard

● Neuter Surgeries: PetVets Clinic, Ripper's Yard, Dr. Karthik Iyer's Pet Clinic, Airoli

● Blood Tests: CentralVets, PetVets

● Dental Extractions: Dr. Poonch, Govandi

● FIP - Feline Coronavirus Treatment: Dr. Kiran Shelar, CentralVets.

All are expensive but not exploitatively so, worth the money, proper and good experiences only since the past 4 years as a cat rescuer.

Here's the charges sterilisation charges for pet animals at the above clinics:

1. PetVets: Rs. 7000 (Male Pet Cat), Rs. 9000 (Female Pet Cat)

2. Dr. Karthik Iyer, Chembur / Airoli: Rs. 3000 (Male Pet Cat), Rs. 5000 (Female Pet Cat)

3. Ripper's Yard: Rs. 5000 (Male Pet Cat), Rs. 10,000 (Female Pet Cat)

Always opt for pre-operative CBC, LFT and KFT blood panel, a few days before surgeries to ensure your cat is in their best health and ready for surgeries.

Total Blood Panel at PetVets: Rs. 2500/-

Total Blood Panel at Ripper's Yard: Rs. 1000/-

Blood Panel (Only CBC) at Dr. Karthik Iyer's Only Available at Chembur Clinic Same Day As Surgery: Rs. 300/-

A good vet and good pet parent will not carry out surgeries without a blood panel. Do not opt for surgeries if your cat has high WBC values, or high Kidney values.

He is so EYES 😭😭😭

Please suggest a name!!

This is my foster kitten 🧿 he is a motherless neonate, between 2 to 3 weeks old. I'm keeping him warm, giving KMR at intervals.

Please suggest a name for the tux boy!!

The girl tux is named Willow ❤️ There was a tabby girl, we had named her Queen 👑🕊

Mother cat stepped on a wire at a construction zone and she was electrocuted. The babies are between 2 to 3 weeks old. This morning, Queen, the tabby girl, died of fading kitten syndrome, the underlying cause being herpes and pneumonia.

A construction worker brought the kittens to the rescuer in a plastic bag filled with muck, it must have caused the illness. Other two kittens are fine, x ray of chest clear.

We are keeping them warm with a hot pack, feeding every 2-3 hours with Vettina KMR and giving antibiotics, eye drops and multivitamin. Doing whatever we can, it's very hard to for neonates to make it without a mother's care 😭😭

Need prayers and any guidance 🙏🏻

3 neonates left motherless after she was electrocuted. Have a heating pad, feeding every 4 hours, KMR Vettina, today evening 8pm suddenly one stopped crying for food, stopped moving around like the others and is sucking weakly. Weight was 144grams on Saturday and 140grams on Sunday. Eyes were crusted shut but we cleaned and opened it, applied Moxicip, one drop each eye. Smearing sugar water on the mouth every 5 mins for now.

Anyone have advice? Heading to the vet tomorrow morning asap.

So finally, after almost 2 months of saline, Shrivali's creatinine came down to 2.6 but when I stopped the saline for a week, it shot up to 3.1, again I started saline and it came down to 2.8

Shrivalli is eating food well, he does not like Renal gravy but likes Renal Dry, he likes Sheba broth gravy and due to eating well he has put on a good 300 grams.

He is suffering anemia and is on medications for management and that will be for life. As well as saline regularly, 3 times a month and blood tests every 2 months to monitor his kidney disease.

I went to another vet for a second opinion on his dental situation as he has trouble eating and infections on and off, the dental decay can be a big source of infections and pain. So it would be nice if we could get extractions done and give him an improved quality of life.

The other vet was frank with me, he said this cat has about 8 months to 2 years left to live if we don't skip regular saline and keep monitoring blood reports. That's the nature of CKD. This vet did say that if we attempt an extraction, he will 100% revert to the same state he was in, when I rescued him, with a creatinine of 5+ but he can be stabilized with saline and the same treatment I did before.

I've worked hard to stabilize him, also money played a big part cause daily salines were expensive. Additionally, he is also suffering anemia - Dental surgery means blood loss, can we really afford to loose what small amount of blood he is making??

I don't want to cut down on the 2 years he has left to live due to a very risky dental surgery. So after a lot of thinking, I've decided against it.

My neighbor has agreed to adopt him permanently. So I'll be close, monitoring him and giving him saline and supplements when needed, along with blood tests regularly.

Please wish us luck ahead and thank you for all the support I've recieved for Shrivalli!

This is Jan and June

Jan is a rani in my house, she is my most perfect foster cat at home. She groom's all the little motherless kittejs, cuddles me when I'm at my lowest, enjoys kisses and hugs. She talks to me and sleeps beside me and she loves me with her whole little heart.

I swear if I did not have my own cats who I had to adopt under circumstances - I would take Jan as my own any day. She is very beautiful, body and soul.

June is her evil twin. She is mean, beats up all the kittens at home, June never shares her spaces and hates sharing her favorite person too. June is very picky and she's thin too, totally unlike her motu sister. June took time to adjust and was very stressed but once she fell in live with me, she hates sharing me and I foster cats so I can never belong to one cat. She makes biscuits on my belly and back and always comes to me when I call her.

Jan and June would be a perfect addition to a family. They are indoor girls, around 2 years old, vaccinated, spayed and litter trained. Jan understands being spoken to and rough commands. June takes time but loves with all her heart.

Despite being such amazing cats, we've had no inquiries 💔 People don't want adults, because they think bonding nahi hogi, they think they won't be playful as kittens, they won't be as cute as kittens....

I welcomed Jan and June when they were already adults. Yet our bonding is such....They play, they love toys, they love watching birds, they love phone games, they are super cute you can see the pics. So why not 💔💔💔

I wish we could keep every cat we rescued but then we would never be able to rescue more 💔

Location: Thane and nearby cities.

Contact: raisyscatnation@gmail.com or DM me for WhatsApp number, let's have a chat, come meet them.

Hello, a fellow feeder moved to a society in Manpada and waha pey she found this lone billa. He was really hungry and thirsty, so chup chup key khana diya - then she got posted all across whatsapp groups, CCTV of her feeding him, ki this person did a very big crime. Feeding is not allowed.

So isko pickup karne mere pass bheja. He is 6-7 months old. We have neutered him - going to send him to a friends farmhouse but before that no harm in trying for adoption!

Does anyone want? Darpok hai, but loves being petted and very affectionate and playful. Orange hai, toh masti karega. Bohut zoor sey meow karta hai.
