Bamboozled at how parents just keep on making children

After having dinner with my parents, my mum sat at the dining area longer than she usually does. She was messaging someone on her phone and looked a bit distraught. Naturally, I asked her what's going on.

Turns out her youngest brother got into a fight with his wife. It stemmed from the stress of looking for a job. The details aren't all relevant to the story but basically the wife is looking for a job and my uncle was helping her submit documents, driving her, etc. While my mum was telling the story to me, she mentioned: "I told him to not stress her out since she's pregnant." And I was just... shocked.

My uncle and his wife aren't young. They're in their mid-30s to early 40s but both of them don't exactly have *the means* to have more children. That fella in the womb is their third. Their second is under 5 and their first is still in middle school. My uncle is taking odd jobs left and right because he doesn't have a degree and was a slacker in his younger years. While his wife, as the story goes, doesn't have a sustainable job either.

I'm genuinely shocked that they'll be having a baby again. I feel like they're taking advantage of my grandma (who is a sweetheart and won't say no to helping take care of the kids). And knowing my grandma, despite being almost 80, she'll find a way to help her kid go through it and it's stressing me out. That poor lady! Not to mention, my mother would also feel like she has to help out because she's the oldest.

And of course, as I'm animated, I reacted and said: "Why the hell would they have another baby?" My mum shrugged and answered, "Well, they're married." Which is??? So odd but at the same time so fucked up because it makes sense because these folks have been raised in that kind of ideal? But also, health centres here offer free birth control like arm implants or injectables. Could've used their head a bit more than what's down there.

Just the other day I was having a hard time deciding whether or not I should buy soap or if I should wait 'til my salary comes in and then there are folks who pop babies out of nowhere without any plan. Crazy.

ArchersHub not reflecting current term's tuition balance

Has anyone else experienced this error? It's still showing me my balances from the last term which I have already paid for and it won't let me see the amount that I have to pay for this term.

Is the campus open tomorrow? I'm not positive that the Virtual Office will get back to me on time.
