The Eras tour is one of the only things that calms my 2 month old, I’m glad it’s on Disney+

My baby is 2 months old and when he has a bad day and won’t chill I put on the eras tour and we sway to it and bounce. It helps him sleep and gives me a little bit of a break for our contact naps. I’ve watched this like 4+ since delivering him and it works! Thank goodness Taylor put this out for public consumption. It’s

Someone tell me I’m not dying and don’t need to panic

I had my c section on June 9 and the recovery is/was AWFUL. I was in the ER 3 weeks after with a UTI AND the antibiotics they gave me was resistant to it, my pcp changed me to a different one and it cleared up. I called my doc about 3 weeks postpartum because I wanted them to evaluate if it was infected, they WOULDNT CHECK IT. I also had a horrible experience during my c section recovery that I felt embarrassed and upset that I would not go back to see those providers. I had to file a formal complaint. But my c section scar is scabbing. I’m 7 weeks and I’m feeling kind of insecure that it’s healing ok. It’s scabby not red or oozing or anything and I’ve been keeping it dry but everyone keeps saying it should be healed by now. So now I’m worried. I canceled my 6 week appointment because I felt so dismissed. I saw another obgyn who told me to put peroxide on it, but I genuinely don’t want to put anything on it. My pcp said I could put on neosporin on it, but again I don’t know what to do it’s kind of felt like it’s opened up. Tell me this is normal healing and I don’t have do get it checked out again. It was checked at 5 weeks with my pcp and a obgyn

6 week old, inconsolable and miserable. Losing our minds.

I assume this is a feeding situation. Our little ball of sunshine seems to be struggling this week and so are we. He is six weeks today. We were buying the ready to feed bottles of the Similac sensitive, but our boy was demanding to be fed 4oz every 2 hours, which was great but by 1.5 hours he was having a meltdown. We burp in between every ounce. We decided to up his intake to 5oz as he just wasn’t satisfied with the 4oz, but the rtf bottles only come in 2oz so not only were we buying a lot of them but we’d be leaving 3 oz of one bottle everytime we fed him. So we switched to the formula powder same brand. He absolutely has had a rough few days, waking up much more frequently. He’s absolutely pained in his face. We sit him upright for 30 minutes after feeding, we try taking a break, we have him sleep upright on us. We have been mixing bottles with the formula powder right in the bottle. He’s peeing and pooping ok. Nothing is soothing this poor child. Is there anything we can do? Is this just normal? He doesn’t have a temp or anything either. We love him so so much, but we hate to see him so miserable, plus the inconsolable screaming is having us rethinking all of our life decisions (KIDDING).I’m wondering if he has reflux problems, as he winces when we burp him and screams for the bottle when we take it away to burp him. Guys please tell me there is something I can do to make it better.

Sunburst granny square, tension on outside corners…feels sloppy.

I’ve been crocheting now for over a year, just got into doing fancy granny squares trying to make a blanket with all my hand dyed yarn. This is my third granny square in this collection, and I don’t know why the corners look so sloppy. The corners are treble crochet 3x, chain 3, 3 more treble in the same space, the next few are a cluster of 3 doubles and the middle is 3 half doubles, and 3 more doubles and then repeat. Will blocking fix this or should I just redo and try to get better tension?
