Has anyone here quit their job to live with their loved one who is out of state/country? My sister lives alone without any family or friends nearby and I’m so close to quitting, living off my savings, just to be with her.
It’s hard to stay hopeful and optimistic when things are really bad. Any hopeful or success stories would help right now. Thank you.
Busco recursos de salud mental para un familiar que vive en la Ciudad de México y padece una enfermedad mental grave. No sé cómo gestionar la búsqueda de ayuda profesional para ella, por lo que agradecería cualquier orientación al respecto.
Granted I’ve only been on Concerta 18mg for the first time this week but does the anxiety go away?
When will the calm focus kick in? LOL
Hi all! I’m only on week 1 of 18mg Concerta but noticed I have acne, feel light cramps every day now, and am honestly just constantly sleepy.
I am a bit more irritable/overstimulated to sounds. Anyone else feel this way?
30F - I have had about 20 floaters in each eye since the dawn of time but I’ve been able to live with them although I can never truly get used to them.
Now, at the age of 30, 2 new floaters have appeared and they are right in the CENTER of my field of vision.
This is the first time new floaters have appeared as I’ve had the same floaters all my life. My eye doctor says my eyes are “textbook healthy” but then why the floaters and new ones?
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give
How do you all cope? My sister lives alone in another country and I cannot be there to physically help her nor does she let me in.
I’m heartbroken by what she’s going through.
How do you all cope and gently suggest medication/ professional help to a loved one in need?
I guess I never thought to attribute my trouble speaking with my ADHD but is this a thing for a lot of people?
For example, at work my brain is thinking 52819 miles faster than my mouth can keep up.
And then when I actually speak I hyper focus on the other person’s reaction to my speaking and then I blank or stumble on my words and end up using vocabulary that… well… is shit.
I know presentation/speaking skills are a muscle to strengthen but it feels like there’s a mind-to-mouth disconnect.
Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve been on it for almost a month and I find myself more emotional and sad than normal lol
