What fun/side/small/experimental projects (in tech) are you guys working on

What kind of projects are you guys working on for fun or experimentation or not-too-serious side-projects? (assuming that most of are vibe-coding these things nowadays) Even if you want to take these projects ahead, it could be the small ones what you are starting now.

I see many events happening in the city that look like it is for people who are immersed in the tech or working on serious startups etc. Some of those also need pre-requisite conditions to be met for one to get accepted. And a couple of them that I did attend didn't really meet my expectations.

I have heard a few from people I've run into at coffee shops around here. But would love to hear what you guys are working on.

Posting this on this sub because if we have enough people, we could do a small gathering to check them out too.

NOTE: Guys, please post things that can be used by some of us and not overly technical that will only make the nerds drool.

Don’t stress on the tech details, the stack etc. Just the problem you’re working on. It could be really small or silly, in fact those are what I’m hoping to hear more of.

Help me build a map of our street food scene!

SnackMap is a platform where you can discover and contribute to the street food scene in your locality. Wherever you are, you should be able to open a map and see what street food is available around you. We're starting with Indiranagar.

I've already added a few of the most popular street food vendors and food trucks in the locality, but we need to cover every single one of them.

Here's what I'm looking for: if you have a favorite vendor — whether it's a cart, a small shop, or a pushcart — add them to the map. You can either suggest a place with some details like the name, what they sell, and why you love it. Or just snap a picture of your favorite spot, drop it in, and add a quick name. Takes a couple of minutes either way.

And if you know any vendors personally, talk to them about getting on the app. They can add their own spot, set up their menus and take orders off the menu. It also helps them manage orders and maintain a queue, especially for the "famous" carts that get crowded most evenings.

Contribute your favorite street food spots into this for everybody's benefit. The more vendors and recommendations we have, the better the map becomes for everyone in Indiranagar.

Check it out at snackmap.in — would love to hear your feedback and suggestions, and looking forward to seeing some contributions!
