some midweek touring folk punk & folk punk adjacent music WED sep 2 at the Crib
leaving Minneapolis to play one other town with David on his tour cuz I like David a lot & I absolutely love Marquette
I hope the title makes sense. I'm not posting this looking for "exposure" or a break or money.... I just have really wanted to do this for a long time & I think the music I've already been making & touring on for years would be really fun to work with a filmmaker to backdrop a film
I have a musician/band website at www.shugemusic.com (I make subtle music ranging from soft folk to abrasive folk punk to shoegazy indie-rock to abrasive screaming punk... I get bored with genre purity). Id love any leads on how to connect with potential filmmakers who would want to experiment with colaborating with someone like me.
anything you spend on bandcamp today all goes 100% to the artists
please spread it around
I'm incredibly proud of my son who has a full scholarship to Reed college in Portland... & now we're looking for a replacement for him as drummer in our band
we'd love to see you there!
turns out we ( shugE ) have 2 more FULL BAND performances booked in the Twin Cities this summer... this one (booked kindof last minute as we get ready to do some touring) is tomorrow
here's the defense fundraiser for the defense committee working with the 15 anti-ICE organizers charged in Minnesota yesterday
