Propaganda Knowledge

berenice_dolls

Propaganda has always been America's sharpest weapon. It makes cruelty look like safety and convinces people to cheer for their own destruction.

We've seen it again and again:
They called Native nations "savages" to justify genocide and painted land theft as "Manifest Destiny."

They spread "Yellow Peril" lies about Chinese workers to pass the Chinese Exclusion Act.
They pushed false "science" claiming Africans felt less pain, to excuse slavery, torture, and medical abuse.

They told Americans that Japanese incarceration camps were a "military necessity," while families lost homes, businesses, and nearly 2,000 lives.
After 9/11, Muslims, Sikhs, South Asians, and Arabs were painted as terrorists, unleashing waves of violence here at home.

They targeted Mexican Americans through Depression-era "Repatriation," 1950s Operation Wetback, and lynchings during La Matanza, all sold as "law and order."

And today, propaganda says immigrants are "criminals" while we watch mothers selling fruit, fathers selling flowers, and even firefighters saving lives get stopped and questioned.

This is the cost of propaganda: families destroyed, communities destabilized, economies damaged, lives lost.

We must study the pattern, call it what it is, and refuse to let cruelty keep wearing the mask of safety or righteousness!

Armed queers don’t get bashed

My heart is full with the reception we received marching in the parade this year, I can't tell you how much of an honor it was to be a part of this event and I look forward to many more in the future. I tried my best to handout stickers to those who went above and beyond in their vocal support for us, and my only regret is that I didn't have more to give! It's a great problem to have, and I can't thank my community enough for showing out on Sunday.

For those of you who don’t know what the Pink Pistols are you can look us up or read about us here https://pinkpistols.org/PPUtilityManual.pdf and for anyone local to the area I have started a subreddit at r/PinkPistolsPGH to field questions and promote upcoming events with more to come shortly.

Happy Pride! 🇺🇸🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

How often do you apologize before speaking??? Or push through exhaustion because rest feels uncomfortable?

How often do you look to others to decide whether you’re worthy?

Colonialism didn’t only shape policies, borders, & institutions. It shaped our relationships with authority, productivity, boundaries, & belonging. With ourselves.

Many of us inherited nervous systems trained to prioritize compliance over authenticity. Obedience over critical thinking.

To perform instead of rest.

Shrink instead of take up space.

Carry everything alone.

Awareness matters because what was learned can be UNLEARNED.

As you move through this carousel, notice what shows up in your body.

Tightness in your chest.

A lump in your throat.

The urge to scroll away.

Pause for just a moment,

Take a breath, but only if that feels accessible.

Unclench your jaw.

Let your shoulders drop.

You don’t need to force yourself to keep reading if your body needs a break.

Do what feels best for you. 🫶🏽

Save this for the days you forget that your survival strategies once kept you safe.

Share it with someone who is learning to trust themselves again.

We will save us.

It's time.

🖤

We are not angry enough! 🤬

Amir stopped speaking. Kaleth stopped eating. Amalia lost consciousness in a detention facility and was given Tylenol.

These are not statistics. They are toddlers. And since Trump retook office, at least 500 babies and children aged 3 and under have spent time in ICE custody; 25 of them on any given day.
The facility holding them is the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in Texas, run by a private prison company called CoreCivic. It was closed under Biden.

Trump reopened it in March 2025.

Pediatricians call infancy and toddlerhood the most critical window of brain development in a human life — a million neural connections forming every second. Toxic stress doesn't just traumatize children in the moment. It rewires them. The damage can follow them for decades.

At least 175 babies and toddlers have already been held past the 20-day federal limit set by the Flores settlement, the court agreement that has protected children in immigration detention since 1997. During Biden's last year, zero children under 3 were held past that limit.

ICE says conditions at Dilley are safe, sanitary, and appropriate. Attorneys who have visited the facility nine times called that account "fanciful." Lights stay on all night. Stuffed animals are banned from sleeping areas.

Parents have hidden cereal in their socks so their children wouldn't go to bed hungry.
These children's families shared their photos and their names so you would know them. Remember them.

GEO group is the publicly traded and for profit private prison cooperation that you fund with YOUR TAX dollars to operate Delaney “camp”. This facility cost tax payers $72 million annually and in its existence has cost us $1.2 BILLION.

05/23/26 Grand Rapids MI Armed March

05/23/26 Grand Rapids MI. The Revolutionary Black Panther Party and GR Community members held an armed march calling for justice for Da’quain Johnson. A black man (32) who was shot 3 times while face down as a K9 mauled his face. Prosecuting Attorney for Kent County Christopher Becker ruled the officer that murdered Da’quain was justified in doing so. The RBPP are giving Becker 30 days to change his decision.
