Antidepressant withdrawal gave me head/neck tremors

Hello, it’s been 7 months since I quit the SSRI Citalopram. I got extremely, extremely physically/neurologically sick after I quit. To make a long story short: I had over 30+ symptoms. I was bedridden for 3 months, I couldn’t walk/sleep/eat, and my body felt like it was on fire and being electrocuted 24/7. Hell on earth. It has been the most horrible period of my life.

On this day I only have around 2-3 symptoms left. Which are: low libido (almost fully back), myoclonus in my toes and small tremors in my neck/head.

I don’t really understand what’s going on, but my head feels wobbly. And when I look up or down, I feel like my head is a jelly and can’t keep proper balance. My head feels heavy. I hear cracking noises when I’m not even moving it. This seems to be worsening day by day.

Every 30 seconds I feel a tremor and hear a crack, even when I’m not even moving or holding my head up.

Will this go away?

Do male stewards wear beards?

I heard that you cannot have a beard during interviews, but I was told by a former steward that some stewards keep neat beards as soon as they’re an official steward.

Can anyone confirm?
Have you seen stewards with beards?

What can I do against hyperexcitability / overactive / hyperactive nervous system?

BACKGROUND INFO:
I crashed in December 2025, 6 weeks after a 3 month taper of Citalopram 20mg.
Had over more than 30+ symptoms. Bedridden and electrocution 24/7. Symptoms were only physical, neurological and sexual (still unsure of whether this is PSSD or rather withdrawal sexual dysfunction).
I reinstated immediately (a microdose of 1.25mg) and I stabilized in April 2026.

SITUATION NOW (6 months after the crash):
I improved tremendously.
I am left with myoclonus in my toes, mini brain zaps, muscle twitches, a hyperactive nervous system and very low libido as a result of this hyperexcitability. Sexual activity worsens the nerves firing in my body. Therefore I struggle to feel/stay aroused, because it is too activating.
I feel like having butterflies all over my body. In the meantime I tapered down to 0.82mg and expect to be off by the end of December 2026.

QUESTION:
What can I do to speed up the nerve recovery?

Sleep is not affected anymore. Physical activity, unlike sexual activity, does not seem to negatively affect my nervous system.

How can I de-crystallize my Molecule 02 (Ambroxan) solution?

Hi, for the past couple of years I’ve been making my own Molecule 02 (Ambroxan only) solution with alcohol.

It’s great. But I always end up with lots of crystals that clog the sprayer. I would like to get rid of the crystals.

ChatGPT told me to just add Dipropylene Glycol. Is this the way to go?

I’m a noob.

It’s been 6 months since my severe Citalopram crash (December 2025) and I’ve started tapering once I felt fully stabilized, which was on 1 April (it’s now 6 May 2026).

I was on 1.25mg from December to April. I am now on 0.92mg.

Recently i’ve been feeling bad again. I have myoclonus in my feet, in my head (brain zap-ish) and my libido seems badly affected as well.

I feel like a spastic patient.
I feel like a prisoner. I want to get this poison out of my system.
