After 7 years, I quit.

On my 7 year anniversary with Walgreens, an honest coincidence, I submitted my 2 week notice. Sycamore Partners bought Walgreens, it ain’t a secret. They really will hire anybody and slap a manager label on it. 7 years with Walgreens and I never became a senior technician after passing PTCB and becoming immunization certified. I learned Spanish (A1) and American Sign Language (A1) to converse more with patients and I even promoted vaccines, it was always never enough. I was retaliated against after a district manager physically harassed me. I received a final written warning with no prior disciplinary history for something that I did not do. I hated my experience in regard to my last 6 months of employment with Walgreens. Sycamore is setting a piss poor example of what a pharmacy should be and they’re loosing the main objective in regard to patient care. I was threatened by management at my last location for termination of job abandonment and breach of contract, as the two do not apply to me. Godspeed, Walgreens.

Policy

‼️EDIT‼️The pharmacy district supervisor came in the next day. I expressed my concerns and it was addressed immediately. Hydration station is at the sink.

Can someone please point me in the right direction of where to find the active policy of why I cannot have a water bottle on the counter? I could understand if my drink had a straw, but I literally cannot have a drink visible on the counter with a damn lid on it. Thanks in advance.

Consistent barking, advice needed

Otis Krash is our first sheltie. His middle name is Krash because I totaled my car on my way to go pick him up to bring him home for the first time. My fiancée and I are living with my grandparents. My grandfather has Alzheimer’s. The very loud and constant barks are affecting my grandfathers mood, as it is a sensory overload. He gets confused very easily. It’s triggering him. It’s affecting me as well. I knew getting a puppy was going to be lots of work. My grandmother is constantly telling me to take him to puppy school. I don’t like asking for help regarding any circumstance in my life. I really feel like this is the experience. This is MY dog. Why would I pay someone to do all the work for me? It would help me connect with Otis better if I did everything myself, cheaper too. I hope that I’m stimulating him enough. I can’t even sit down to eat a meal at the table without biting or barking being involved. My sleep schedule is being interrupted.

I would like to make one thing very clear: Otis will never be rehoused. This is mine and my fiancée’s first dog together. I love Otis. We are in this together as a family.

I would like advice on how to handle the situation. I’m tired. I can’t relax unless he’s sleeping.

Edit: I forgot to mention that his Birthday is February 2026

I’m not sure if TMS is working.

My last treatment for TMS is tomorrow. My thoughts are loud. Everything pisses me off. I’ve been distant from all of my friends and social life. I’ve only spoken to my family and I feel like they’re out to get me. I think I hung out with one of my friends once, that was my social life for the past 6 weeks. The physicians made me feel like a joke at the office. I took a leave of absence from my job so that I can focus on TMS. My schedule varies. I couldn’t guarantee to be at the office every day at the same time. The first physician refused to sign my LOA paperwork. TMS is exhausting. I take a nap everyday after treatment. The next physician signed my LOA paperwork. Then 4 weeks later, she basically said “I told you so” about how I should not have taken off work to do TMS. I thought I was doing the right thing. She then told me that the TMS technicians are not my therapists. The worksheets the techs would make me do during TMS felt weird to me. I was pretty much writing the same answers down everyday. I have to question myself everyday if being alive is beneficial. I’m only here so I don’t hurt anyone else. I guess the positive side of all of this is that TMS only costed me 40 bucks.
