My best friend just had a baby; what can I get her that most people wouldn't think to get as first time parents?

My best friend (21F) just had her first baby!!! She is little (5lbs 7oz), and she was induced early. They have most of the stuff off their registry, but I'm looking to get her something special. I'm not a parent, so I have no idea where to start, and I figured Reddit may have good answers! So, what's something you wish you had as a first time mom that you never would have thought to get? Maybe something new?

I'm looking to spend up to like $200, but if there's something really awesome that's over that process range, feel free to drop it and I'll look into it.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!!

Inexperienced Designer - Seeking feedback - Does this make sense?

Hello everyone! I'm a complete hobbyist beginner at this, but I'm looking to make a logo for a silly little website I have in the works. A strangely set up personal blog where I can post about the random things I discover after going down random rabbit holes.

I'm trying to evoke curiosity, essentially, and the following through aspect of it.

I'm open to all feedback, but I'm first and foremost wondering if anyone can even tell what i was trying to do here in the first place.

So tell me, what do you think this is?

Answer:
>!It's supposed to be a magnifying glass with a compass/compass rose in the center.!<

Is anyone has any ideas to make it read better or any notes on the balancing/weighting, I'd love to hear it. I'm sure it could use a lot of work in the eyes of people who do this for a living! But please don't be terribly harsh on me, I have quite literally never done this before :)

Thank you all so much!!

The original dood by CritterStitch! This chunky boy took me like, several days of intensely crocheting, a bag and a half of polyfill, and a lot of determination. I definitely flubbed up my stitch count ✨ repeatedly ✨, but it's okay, because he's so massive you can't really tell! :D His head is quite floppy, but with a lil lumbar support he'll stand of his own volition.

Very proud of myself! I had to learn how to decrease for this project, and this was my very first amigurumi project ever!

So, all in all, lessons learned - maybe stitch markers AREN'T just for suckers 🤣🤣🤣 Or maybe I'm just a sucker, haha. Either way, will 10/10 be using those next time for sure.
