recommendations needed!!

hello all!! i’ve been self tanning for a few years now and i started off using the b tan with violet and LOVED the color but hated how it wore off on me. i now use the tanoligist and i really like it other than the fact it feels like it will never dry down, i feel soooo sticky with it on but i do love the tan it gives me. i kinda want to try something new so im looking for recommendations for other self tans!! TIA!!!!

EDIT : i’m a cool toned girl so the violet b tan color was amazing! would love to find another (better) violet tanner! the tanologist is great but can be a bit orange on me, that’s the main reason i’m looking for something new!

cleaning switch

i put stickers on my switch when i first got it about 3 years ago and i’ve lost a few (two more about to fall off) and im just wondering how to get rid of these outlines? it’s not sticky residue just outlines of where the stickers were. i’ve tried using clorox wipes and rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and neither have even made a budge. any ideas? TIA!

is it collecting or is it an addiction?

hello all!! i’ve always joked that i have a shopping addiction because i genuinely do love to shop until i drop, and every check i’ve ever made goes right to shopping for whatever i please, but i truly do not know if it’s a shopping addiction or me just collecting. if this is an issue it’s something i really should address now before i get out of hand, and i could see this leading me down a bad path if i don’t try to do something about it now.

i’ll start by saying i collect only a few things, but i go in deep and down bad with “collecting”.

first thing i collect is body care/fragrances. a big one is bath and body works products. i do “good” by using up scents i know will return (staple season scents), but when it comes to anything else i buy the whole collection. i also try to only buy scents i actually like. i won’t buy a whole collection of in the stars cause i don’t actually care for it. i have perfumes that date back to my childhood. i dont plan to resell anything but some scents i dont know if ill ever use because i just love them so much and never want to not have the scent (if that makes any sense). ive spent probably about $1000 in the past few months at b&bw buying collections and summer scents i absolutely love. i’ve done well at using up most of my tree hut scrubs, but again, some scents i dont know if they’ll ever return so i just keep them because i love the scent of them. VS/pink is another one i often collect but i dont shop as heavy there as i used to.

candles are another. along side the body care i buy from bath and body works im obsessed with the candles. i have a huge issue with not burning the ones i know i wont see come back, so now i have 3 massive b&bw bags filled to the brim with candles.

juicy couture is a huge one for me as well. i love anything from the early 2000’s, but juicy is my big one. i buy bags and wallets i know ill probably never touch after i buy them but for some reason i tell myself i need it. i try to cycle my purses and wallets whenever i want a “new bag” to carry, but i always end up buying more i never use. barrel bags are a huge one for me, i love them so much and they’re so cute but im a girl who carries her whole life with her, i know i need a big purse, so why do i even buy the smallest bags? again i dont plan to resell anything, i say im just a collector, but am i really collecting or is this over consumption and hoarding?

another thing i always say is if theres one left its meant to be, this has caused me to buy a LOT of things. normally this is a phrase ive used when it comes to makeup but its slipped into other categories like home items or other collectibles.

all of my friends call me the “over consumption final boss” because of how much i shop. i try to follow sales but at the end of the day im truly just shopping when i want. ive tried project pan but i find myself only using up products i know i can rebuy, not limited edition stuff.

how do i let go of this limited edition fear? i dont even know if fear is the right word.

i think most of my issue stems from not having much money when i was a kid to get the things i want, to now having my own money and being able to buy whatever i want whenever i want. but i just can’t seem to stop spending money. i have a cart on every online shop of stores you’d normally find in a mall and even smaller online businesses. i love stuff, i love clothes, and i love what i believe is my collection of things, but is this truly just collecting? or is this a bigger issue i need to address.

if you’ve read this far, first, thank you for reading all of this, i didn’t expect it to be this long. second, lmk what yall have done to stop yourselves from spending money left and right and what i could do to fix my problem with already owning so much stuff. i only own one card and refuse to open any credit cards because i know it would end bad for me if i did. i just don’t ever want to end up in a bad spot because of my own doing.

mix breed but with what?

this is my 3 year old son dobby!! i was told when i got him he was a chiweenie but i do not see any chihuahua in him. i think he’s mixed with a lab, maybe even a pitty, but what do you think? his body is dachshund but that face is something else, he’s bigger than a normal dachshund. i want to get dna testing done to see what he is but i love asking people their thoughts on his mix!

edit : his body and legs are similar to a standard dachshund. our vet and people who have seen him all said he’s definitely dachshund, just unsure of what he’s mixed with!

edit 2 : more pics of him in comments!!
