Question for aftermarket electronics installers: 2019 2500 Duramax

I'm running 4 16awg wires from a head unit to a solid state relay switch and looking for a factory opening I can run them through. Anything on here I can use without drilling or removing too much of the dash?

04 Sportsman 500 help

Hey all, I'm the lucky 3rd owner of an 04 sportsman. As far as I can tell, early not mid year release. The previous owner had it pretty caked in mud, radiator was plugged, fan definitely couldn't move, etc. They said the gauge pod flashed hot as soon as you started it, the choke cable was stuck, and there was an axle issue. I stripped it down and replaced most of the rear suspension and axles, relocated the radiator and replaced the temp sensor. The radiator had almost no coolant in it so I thought maybe that's why it flashed hot immediately (I didn't realize it was *immediately as soon as it started).

So long story short it's all back together and the gauge still flashes hot immediately after it starts. According to what I found online it could be a grounded out sensor lead, and ECU, or a blown inline breaker. I don't see any evidence of an inline breaker on the fan lead. I unplugged the temp sensor and the hot warning didn't go away so the sensor isn't the issue. I don't see any relay or anything an early year 04 is supposed to have so maybe it's a .5? There's an aluminum finmed box that I assume is the voltage regulator, and another black box above that that's probably an ECU? But no fam relay, no breaker, or anything else. Direct 12v to the fan turns it on so that's not an issue.

There's no rubbed wiring harness I can see. What else might cause the immediate hot warning on the gauges? Could it just be an ECU issue?

The fun thing about taking on a 22yo quad is having no idea what's stock and what someone cut out or changed along the way.

04 sportsman 500 HO sensor question

I can't find this part on the Polaris parts site. There's a lever connected to a short spring that pushes on a switch in the gear selector when you step on the rear brake. What's the part number for that switch and the spring? or what are they called?

Hey all, got a Stampede 4x4 for use around my house, my kid ran it into a tree and snapped a shock tower off the control arm and bent the arm, no biggie, I expected that. I bought aluminum upgraded shocks, arms, hub assemblies etc and replaced it all.

I had noticed before changing anything that I could hear grinding if I held one rear tire and turned the other, but after it grinds bad in reverse, slightly less forward at low throttle but bad at full throttle. Wondering if there's a known weakness or other area before I tear down the differential? I can't tell if it's coming from the motor or the diff.
