Do I still have to call to ask about my pet being in the cabin with me?

I've searched through previous posts about this topic but they're over a year old and I want to make sure my information is up to date...

I booked a flight last night and added that I will be traveling with a pet in the cabin. I've paid the fees and see that it shows up in my booking confirmation details.

Do I still have to call and talk to an agent about reserving the spot since I know they only allow up to 2 pets per flight? This is our first time flying with a pet so I'm trying to make this as smooth as possible for all of us.

The wait times to get through to anyone are unreasonable and I can't be on the phone all day while I'm working.

At this point, it might be easier for me physically go to Pearson or Billy Bishop to talk to someone in person since I live/work close to those airports. Has anyone tried going in person to deal with these types of inquiries?

Thank you!

Best patios or rooftop bar/restaurant in the downtown core.

Hello everyone, I'm looking to take a colleague out to celebrate some personal and professional milestones. I'm looking to treat them to a nice dinner after work. Ideally somewhere south of Bloor so it's easy for us to get back to Union Station before heading home.

If the weather is cooperative, it would be nice to go to a patio or a rooftop with an easy-going vibe - nothing super formal that requires a specific dress code. But really, any indoor restaurant would do.

They don't really drink much so I'm willing to go somewhere with slightly more elevated food. Budget would be $100-$150 per person.

I would like to avoid a common chain restaurant so no Earls, Milestone or Keg, etc. We have access to that in the burbs so I prefer something a little more unique/special.

Thanks in advance!

Sudden hormonal acne over the last two months!

I have been on Mya birth control (drospirenone - ethinyl estradiol) for almost 2 years now but over the last two months, my chin and jawline have exploded with hormonal acne. I haven't made any drastic lifestyle changes so I'm really at a loss as to why this would suddenly happen.

This is my first time being on birth control to treat acne so I'm just shocked that I'm right back where I started, if not, worse, after things had been going so well. I'm feeling quite defeated, especially after seeing pictures of myself from just a couple of months ago with such clear skin and hardly any makeup.

I have a phone consultation booked with my doctor this week to figure out what on earth is going on.

In order to prep for the conversation, I just wanted to ask if anyone had an experience like this before? Is it possible that my body has built up some type of tolerance? Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas of things to bring up to ask my doctor when I talk to them this week?

Edit: I'm turning 38 this year, if that helps add more context.
