My first completed crochet project! (Baby blanket)

All I had done bedfore was amigurumi so I'm really happy! Freehanded it on the go, used moss stitch and changed colors every two rows. Then I added a bit of size with a sc-dc border and finished with a shell edge. I was terrified of blocking it but it was easy and it turned out amazing! Blocking made it super soft and gave it the most beautiful drape. What do y'all think? Any advice welcome.

A hint of paprika means instant success

11.5 month old is and has always been a great eater. She's had her fussier days here and there and some problems with fruit which I think are related to me progressing textures too quickly. For example she's been refusing peach but today she ate a whole one ... Grated.

Pictured is today's dinner: adapted chicken and pepper fajitas, carrot cheesy bars and a bit of guacamole. Didn't gave fruit for dessert today because her fruit count for the day is 20 raspberries, 1 peach, 1 banana and 5 (small) prunes.

This baby is truly a blessing. Now she's sleeping happy as a clam.

Update: still getting weird things

Hi y'all!

Last week I got what I though were two clear positives in easy@home strips (please refer to my post history to look at those). Last period 25 june, dpo unknown, cycles super wonky after weaning my 11 month old. I tested because I was feeling weird (full boobs, insane bloat). Both lines in those strips showed well inside the timeframe. I was told they could be invalid, dye runs, whatever. Retested again and I've gotten four negatives and what looks like an evap line (test with pink cap) - it was negative the first ten minutes, tossed it in the thrash, then took it out to take it to recycle and saw that line that I assume it's an evap. This afternoon tested with the one of the red cap, it's negative.

I know, I know, I'm reading tests outside of frames and I should wait and yada yada yada. I know. I just wanna know what y'all think about the chances of getting two lines three times in a week and all of them being false. Idk maybe I'm not making sense. I just wanna have my second one.

Well look at that 😅😅

Posted yesterday to ask because I got a positive and then a few negatives. Retested again today... And look at that! Hah looks like I'm gonna be a mom again! This would put me at 2 weeks pregnant which is absurd so I'm assuming I ovulated right after my last period which started on june 25th. Or whatever. I'm just happy as a clam!

Laziest snack was quite a success

I am usually eager and excited to make pancakes, oat bars, nice recipes for my 10 month old. But today I'm just knackered from work, I have a cold and on top of all that my husband and FIL had a massive fight so I was feeling kinda down. So what I did for afternoon snack was... Peel and slice a loquat, smash 20 blueberries and just plop two tablespoons of cottage cheese on her plate. She's having a blast. Tried to get her to use the spoon, but cottage cheese blobs are apparently super funny to pick up. She cleaned her plate.

Plate vs ate

Today's meal for my 9.5 month old was carrillada, a typical spanish meat stew. We usually cook it with salt and add a bit of red wine to the pot, both of which we skipped of course. So it's a nice piece of veal, artichokes, carrots and zucchini, all stewed together. She liked it much more than I though she would, specially the artichokes. I'm so proud of my little foodie 😍
