this should work for my Bolt just as extra charger I want to leave at my parents house? I only have the 1 I got with the car and am always worried I will forget it at home. Guy on FB is selling it for $80. Brand new unopened.
Had our maintenance guy for the HOA do it on his off day. Charged me $200. Not bad. Getting the plastic bumper off was the hardest part. After that, easy peasy
I noticed it flashing a green light when I finally figured out how to remote start my car. It is near the OBD port
I feel like I’ve gone through every setting and I can’t see what is causing this. I’m fine with the horn beeping when I lock it, but when I unlock the car, it does two quick horn beeps. In the settings, I have it set for lights only when unlocking. Is there something else that is causing this?
I can’t figure out how to remote start my car. I’ve had it for like a month now. I press the lock button and immediately hold the remote start button. Nothing happens. Do I need to enable it somewhere in the settings?
I would like the ability to park my car outside sometimes and use the plug in front of my front door. It is covered overhead, but sometimes when it’s really windy and snowy, it will blow snow around the house or to my front door. It also will get super cold in the winter sometimes like in the negatives. I was reading that the supplied EVSE with the vehicle is not outdoor rated? Does anyone have any suggestions? 2023, Bolt EUV
She’s one of the only reasons I wake up in the morning lately. 8 going on 9. Don’t want to think about the future.
Ok well guys, I think I got most of it. I used LIGHTER FUEL -- Ronsonol (Zippo fuel) essentially. I put my faith in Chat GPT and she held up. This was only like $4 for a bottle. I went through like 4 microfiber cloths because after a bit you just start smearing the glue more. If anyone is thinking about removing the screen protector from your ~3 year old screen that probably baked in the sun, heed caution. That being said, it seemingly is A-OK, and looks great. My fingers are absolutely cramping right now from working and lightly scrubbing so hard. That's a finger workout that would make my ex melt. Too bad for her! I got a shiny screen though. yay!
edit: bonus pic of my little helper being patient with her stuffed owl
I saw some posts about the screen protector… decided to look at my new to me 2023 EUV…. It looks like it was still on there from the original owner. I went ahead and peeled it off but now I’m worried that it was a bad idea. Now the screen has sticky residual glue all over it. I don’t think I ruined it but what is the best way to clean this glue off? I definitely should not be using alcohol wipes, correct?
If I rub my finger on it, it’ll eventually pill up and I could get some of the glue off that way, but I’m gonna rub my fingers raw if I do the whole screen.
I tried a touch screen safe wipe but it didn’t do much.
Screen still works fine…. But this glue residue is no bueno
Anyone have recommendations to fix this? Do I need to be worried about water getting in here? As I sit in the car wash… lol
I just picked up this used '23 -- and noticed the previous owner had this thing glued to where the charging ports are.
I use an iPhone and wireless carplay is fine and built in. I'm wondering why they would have used this? Doesn't this '23 also have wireless AA built in?
Does anyone have a use for this adapter? Otherwise it's going in the recycle pile
Seems like a pretty good deal with all the warranties still thereand the
sun & sound package, and "redline" edition -- anyone have a reason I should NOT consider this?
1 owner, carfax is clean, low miles, moonroof, all the bells and whistles, heated and vented seats, '23 so has CarpPlay.... I'm planning to drive 2 hours to the city to test drive it in the morning and would buy it.... it will be a second vehicle but will become my main daily driver for 90% of stuff
I'm looking for some advice on a warranty situation if I were able to grab a used bolt. I've been looking for a used model with Apple Carplay (so I think 2023 and older) -- but I want to make sure I can still buy an extended warranty and not have to deal with any unforeseen issues. Does anyone know if this is possible? What years and mileage do I need to stick with to be able to do that? Is it true that all vehicles have an eight year hundred thousand mile warranty on the battery?
Do I need to focus in on a year or under a certain mileage to be able to add on an extended warranty?
This would be a second vehicle if I get it and the price is right.
I've been checking facebook marketplace, and other sites like cars, carvana, etc. Just to see what is out there. These things are moving fast. I saw a 2018 with very low miles posted for 14k yesterday and it's already marked as pending :/
My Dad talked me out of it because he is worried about an 8 year old car and things going wrong.
There's a 2023 Chevrolet bolt euv for $15,499 at used dealer near me too I might check out, but over 70k miles.
I appreciate any insight and advice folks can offer. I am not 100% tied to getting a bolt but it seemed like the most cost-effective and practical commuter car for my situation while keeping my already paid off Jeep as a second vehicle. I just really want to stop commuting 200+ miles round-trip on the highway in my jeep.
Frist time taking Tela rafting. Also I guess she "Swimmer's Tail" -- didn't know it was a thing, but she's had her tail down since Saturday now :/
Just want to spread more love for Jaya. Our server, who is the nicest guy, and always remembers me as a regular even though I don’t even go that often…. Just a great guy. He said they’ve been hurting for business especially during the week. They have a great $13 lunches special too. Give them a visit if you’ve never been. Probably my favorite overall Asian food in Denver. Also the wings are the best.
I guess I thought it would be like this tomorrow, not today, ah oh well, at least I skinned up the last couple days. Have fun out there everyone else. 1 lap was enough for me
