I know that usually even if a band in this genre is considered successful and touring, the members aren’t making too much cash especially in this day and age. What type of jobs do these bands have where you can work around frequent touring?

I would really appreciate some guidance here. Given what I want to do and my background, I was wondering if it would be appropriate for me to apply to helpdesk for my first grad job
Ideally I want to end up in cybersecurity, and I figure taking the IT route will be more straightforward than doing any dev / SWE (from what I’ve heard). My main concern is that my background doesn’t have enough applicable skills to a helpdesk role, but here it is:
I’m a senior in computer science at a solid state school in the U.S, floating around a 3.3 GPA. I’ve done two dev internships (wrapping up my second one this summer), one in a special program within my school, and one with a small company that is wrapping up this summer. I have some good low level personal projects, like building a bootloader, and plan to grind out the necessary certs when/if I commit to this route.
Again information on whether helpdesk seems like a good/realistic goal given all of this would be very appreciated!
