How to make Ayran foam?
So I've found lots of recipes to make Ayran, and they are very tasty, but none gets the creamy thick foam we fell in love with in Turkey <3.
Is there a way to make that foam at home?

This cutie blocked the way and erected her head when I tried to pass on a narrow path. With a long stick, I persuaded her to leave. It took a while.
Or was this an invitation to cuddle? And should I have taken her up?
Just in case anyone is interested, there is a list of all camcorders that contain imaging tubes rather than CCDs:

In 2019, I read an awful nonfiction book about false memories:
It contained chapters dealing with repressed s*xual abuse and alien abductions, alleging that both were interchangeably imagined by survivors to make themselves more interesting!
It contrasted these memories to camp memories of Holocaust survivors, citing a study done ~40 years later. This suggests the book was written no earlier than the 1980s.
The author further details an anecdote how (s)he was read to by her father as a child - from a book she since discovered was copyrighted in 1957, when in fact her father had died the year before.
My old notes seem to suggest either a female writer or more than one author, with one being female.
I must have repressed the title of this awful concoction, and before I fall prey to false memories, I'm turning to you for help :)
Hi all,
A 30-year old camping van with real wood veneer (elder) interior needs restoring. Overall condition is great , but has areas of intense use:
- grey areas from touch and from water near sink and entrance (rain)
- dark dots caused by mould (now dry)
- dark brown splotches and scratches from cooking
Before reapplying the original wood treatment (Auro 129 wax for wood floors - the carpenter knew his craft), I'd love to remove as much damage as possible. Dish soap did not do much. I have no experience with "harder" stuff. Plus, I had previously re-waxed the damaged veneer with a less durable beeswax product and fear I might have just sealed the damages in?
Most surfaces are vertical and cannot be removed.
Any tips as to what to do and which products to use? Is oxalic acid appropriate? Are there better alternatives? And does it go only on the abused areas, or throughout? Will it work "vertically"? Or has the damage likely just penetrated too deep?
Attached some photos; standard match for size (didn't have banana)
Hi all,
so last year, I changed my solar system. the technician undid a screw on the roof in an attempt to remove the old holders. we then decided to re-use them, and re-tightened the screw. when the solar installation was done, I sealed everything with sika 221, including that screw and the cable channel into the interior.
yet now I have severe water ingress whenever it rains.
I have attempted several times to broaden and intensify all seals, but to no avail.
access is limited, but I cannot figure out where any leak might be left. I also see no damage to the roof itself.
is there any way to find the leak/s and seal them off without removing the entire solar system? I am at wit's end.
is there a better place to post this?
25yr user. in october, ebay suddenly demanded a photo of my passport. first time in 25yrs. in the spirit of the community, I complied. it was accepted.
now, they demanded another photo of my passport. passport is still the same, valid for another two years. I sent the same scan again.
yet ebay rejected it! on the phone, they first claimed they needed a photo of BOTH SIDES of the passport, but in the SAME photo, not photoshopped together, and when asked HOW in the world that should work, couldn't explain it to me.
then, they accused me of my passport being fake. it isn't. I've travelled with it on three continents. plus, had it been fake, they would have realised that in october already?!
for context, it's a crime to wrongly accuse someone of a crime (like passport fakery).
my account remains blocked. when I phone them, I get endless loops of feigning of ignorance, or a promised call back from another department - that of course never happens.
what a shedshow.
any ideas what to do?
