He lost his patience!

My younger dog was waiting for me to finish crocheting so that we could go for a walk.

He waited for sometime, watching me, making granny squares, patiently. When he saw no sign of me getting me, he stealthily crawled forward and started chewing on the one I had just finished.

Though his point was fair, I was done with one granny square crochet so I should have got up and taken him out. After all he could only have practice so much patience with his small body.

I trust this sub totally ❣️

So with next two parts declared for ACOTAR series, I am not sure where I am on my journey.

I have seen enough posts here to know for sure that one needs to have some idea about what happened in CC series. But I couldn’t even finish ACOTAR, so really doubt I even want to dive in another SJM work.

Similarly, I am not sure how intrigued I am about the next two books.

I am going lurk here till people start posting about the new books and decide whether I want to experience the books firsthand or not.

I have full faith in this sub to do justice with reviews. I enjoy the posts and comments so much. It is very amazing to see that majority of users here are aligned by same thoughts.

PS- Not sure if I have used the correct flair or not.

The fearsome creatures were killed too casually.

So, the bone carver, the weaver and Bryaxis (Cassian please don’t piss in your leathers) were mentioned as ancient creatures, totally terrifying, nightmare inducing blah this blah that.

Feyre bargained with Bryaxis and the carver and convinced them to fight for the almighty Rhys because Hybern had a huge army and a cauldron.

Rhys did same with the weaver and roped in the stryga to fight for them.

The war begins and these creatures were killed (except Bryaxis) just like that, no meaningful impact. Did they kill the king of Hybern, No, did they nullify the cauldron, no and did they annihilate the army, also NO (hehehe laughing in inadequacy).

I agree they were not invincible but at the same time SJM mentioned them as darkest monsters, existing before high fae and whatnot. But when the time comes, she just dismisses them by trivial death? Just like that?

The cauldron is mightier than these creatures, ok accepted (but it also cracked after Amren was released, ummm what??), so the weaver and the carver were killed but SJM did them really bad in death, for creatures so powerful, they truly deserved dignity and death of warrior.

It is almost like SJM has two categories “good people” (according to her) and “idc people” (Tamlin tops the list), she tries to make the first group a bunch of heroes and the later group, for them it is as the magical eight ball suggests shyt.

PS- I am not sure who the middle kid is 🤭

My whole body hurts after recovery.

Anyone else experience sore body muscle after they recover from migraine?

For me, it is mostly after I take triptan and do not sleep off the attack, the colossal amount of fatigue my body experiences is astonishing.

Ovulation reading list.

Hello my fellow romantasy readers, I am looking for mushy romantasy recs, the ones which would make my inside feel all gooey and warm.

Please share your recs and help a girl out.

Thank you!

Same word, said thrice or more, arghh!

Recently I have started listening to the audiobooks of the ACOTAR series by Elizabeth Evans. While reading the series, I never realised just how bad the repetition of words are.

It is almost as if someone has set a word target that needs to completed and SJM has used the same word to do it, *again and again and again* .

Vanilla scented perfumes should be banned.

I cannot emphasis on this enough how horrible the vanilla scented perfumes get.

Nothing triggers migraine like vanilla scent mixed with body odor and sweat. And to my horror, it is all rage rn. Every other person is wearing some kind of vanilla scented shit. I think the cheap ones are more dangerous because it smells nice (maybe immediately after application) for a short time but later on morphs in migraine triggering gas for me.

I know it would be very self entered opinion but I think instead of stinking of cheap vanilla, which does nothing to mask your terrible body odor, people should opt for odorless roll ons or effective body odor control measures.

Seeking pleasure or pain

EDIT- Forgot to add NSFW tag! Now cannot add/edit any tag.

!!!!NSFW!!!!

I swear migraines seem to have a personal agenda against happiness.

Forget about getting excited or laughing really hard or sudden emotions, it will definitely cause a headache and sooner or later it will flare up the migraine, without a fail.

So worries there, I have accepted it.
But now a new variable has entered the equation.

Man, shining the pearl is giving me migraine now. I noticed the pattern from last 4 times 😭

Imagine, seeking pleasure so that you could get high on happy hormones is resulting into something so painful.

I am not even sure what this wretched thing is evolving into but it is surely getting more painful.

Comments are in slide two.

My personal take is, I will watch Quicksilver only for >!onyx!<.

PS- Mods, sorry if this is not allowed.

When you are in pain and people are insufferable.

Only this sub will get my current situation.

From last 4 days, I am in intense pain. I have not removed ice packs from my head in these days, as it is the only thing giving me some relief. The pain is fluctuating between 7-9 on a scale of 10. I am using dark sunglasses inside the house, as it is leaving the house sounds too painful. Surviving on minimum activities. Already taken medication but the pain is not ready leave me yet.

So with this pain, I was lying down on my bed with semi dark room. My dogs were sitting on the bed, by me, keeping really quiet. Then my husband started playing with the dogs, on the same bed. At this moment my pain was 7/10 and I was also cuddling one of the dog. Suddenly my husband pushes the second dog onto to me and it startled me so bad that the pain shot up immediately to 15/10.

At this point I lost my composure and shouted at my husband that how I have told him multiple times that these scares/startled moments acts as triggers sometimes. Now my husband is a very considerate and caring person but sometimes he acts like a total idiot. In moments line this I feel that even he fails to understand that how painful it is for me to have constant pain for last 4-5 days. Just because I am putting up a brave face, that does not mean he gets to do stupid sh!t.

P.S.- I love him a lot, but right this moment he is just annoying.

What is this style.

Reading The Royal Obsession by Milana Jacks. I came across this line and mind you this is not the first line which stuck to me as weird. But this definitely is very, cringe 🤯.

“Although, June does have fine tits. Very fine. Perky and large, with small pink nipples I’d enjoy sucking like a piglet.”

Drop your cringy finds for good laugh.

Maybe it is the rising temperature, or maybe it is the repetition of similar posts.

But of late, whenever I see a post with questions like “Is 30s too late to find love?”, the savage urge to say “Yes, it is too late” is undeniable.

I mean, seriously, do people think entering their 30s is equivalent to entering Dante’s Hell, or what?
