I’ve been interested in flowstar since the beginning of Spring and since EDC has ended, I am especially wanting to try it out.

Curious if anyone has any recommendations for beginner flowstars, tutorials, or even tips!

Also this ad for Dapostar came up on my FYP and I was wondering if this was a good price? There’s also a single one for about $35 (including shipping and tax). Figured I might as well get 2 though lol

EDIT: TikTok shop shows sold by Dapostar with 925 sold and 118 reviews (4.7 stars). Idk if it’s 100% legit but maybe someone else has input? 🥲

EDC + Vegas is already gonna be SO expensive. Save that coin and get your essentials and then some at your nearest dollar quarter store! Obvi gotta buy multiple for the group and/or getting unlucky at security 🫩 But hey, if I lose it or gotta toss it, at least it’s not my Ole Henriksen or touchland LOL

I’ve been REALLY wanting to get a good quality canvas with square drills but just can’t justify paying the DAC prices. I understand the quality with DAC is amazing and that people tend to work on these canvases for a lot longer but $50+ for a single canvas just isn’t it for me 🥲 Many of the canvases I do like too are best sellers/most popular, so they’re never in stock lol.

Anyways, anyone have any of these finished by any chance? I’m curious about the final result and if there’s good detail similar to the photos on the listing/on the box, or if it’s very distorted.

Decided to try out putty last week. I love the asmr/sounds from using it but I feel like I’m not getting the same outcome as everyone else who swears by it.. I feel like I’m having to replace it every day/every other day after diamond painting for ~2 hours through out the day. I notice I am having to press down harder than when I just use wax also, and that sometimes it sticks much more to the putty that it won’t release. Anyways, is this amount of replacements throughout the week normal? I feel like I’ve seen people on social media preferring putty because it lasts SO long but I’m experiencing wax lasting way longer for me.

Anyone have any tips or advice? Or maybe your experience with putty vs wax?

Just FYI: I use attachments similar to these, not the same brand (https://a.co/d/099IOVjE). I mostly work on canvases with round drills and no AB (yet).

Randomly picked up this canvas after walking around hobby lobby, and after a little over a month of working on it, I finally finished it 🤭

I have an addictive personality and love a good hobby, so along the way, I’ve upgraded my system with an over the bed table, light pad, two pens, and a few kits.. That said, if anyone is reading this, seriously, just go ahead and save yourself the trouble and money, and buy the better trays/kits.

My boyfriend has also started a canvas and has worked on his alongside me from time to time ☺️

Ordering myself new pens and I’m curious what’s the difference between these types of attachments (photo 1 vs 2)..

EDIT: Not necessarily the screw-on vs push-in mechanic but the head of the attachments.

Each one was $1.25! There’s others canvases in the plastic packaging but this was the only one that interested me. Honestly find these sizes perfect for me to take on trips when winding down 🤭
