Powers and ending digits
One thing I've had in the back of my mind for a long time is patterns in end digits for numbers that are powers. I noticed that square numbers never seem to end in 2, 3, 7, or 8 while cubes can end with any number... I moved up to fourth- and fifth-powers and those even-/odd-power patterns seemed to hold.

Do those patterns (for lack of a better word) apply to all powers that are either even or odd, and is there a specific reason why/why not?
Fun fact: 265 of Mike Trout's 419 career HR have been solo shots (63.2%) — that's the highest percentage among players with 400+ career HR

reddit.comShould the definition of TWR include albums with actual hit songs?
Had this idle thought on my latest thrift shop trip where I found some TWR artists in the CD section; sure, no one cared about Jewel after "Intuition" and critics hated it, but it was also a top-20 hit and still gets good radio play. Sometimes things just don't work out and artists run out of steam.
Granted that was the very first episode of the series and he had some bangers that would make you go "Yeah, I'd call that a true career-killer" picks right after that, but even if it's the last time the artist was really mainstream-relevant they still have their scene and fandom from their previous work most of the time.
I know he says the TWR definition can get pretty nebulous at times but I'm just curious if you agree. Ik theres a bunch of other Todd subjects who would fall under this umbrella too (Beach Boys and Human League having #1s, etc)
