Do American schools still teach “nous allons au cinéma” is normal ? Or do they now recognize “on” ?

I mostly studied French in 1995-2005 and the usage of “on” to mean “we” was barely mentioned at all. I was shocked the first time I went to France and later Québec to learn that virtually no one says “nous” in conversation anymore. School didn’t prepare me at all for what already was a fait accompli.

Have things changed in the 20 years since I was in school? Do they now teach that “on” is the default subject in regular speech and “nous” is mostly for objects only plus formal language?

Does the TOTK plot ever send you back to the sky islands?

I’m on my first playthrough. I’ve completed 3 of the 4 main story events that get you a bonus character. I haven’t been exploring the sky islands much because I assumed the plot would send me back up there in a meaningful way at some point. But now I’m starting to wonder if that’s actually going to happen. TIA!

What should I get for dinner?

I haven’t been to WH for dinner in over a decade, but there is one in easy walking distance from my hotel and I think I’ll go tonight. Any recommendations? (bfast for dinner is ok too)

EDIT: Thanks everyone for all the great ideas. I ended up getting a chicken melt (regular bun, not Texas) with lettuce tomato onion and WH sauce. Hashbrowns scattered smothered covered.

First time ordering chicken and first time having WH sauce, and both were fantastic! The chicken was so unexpectedly flavorful and juicy, and the WH sauce complemented it beautifully. I usually order my HB scattered smothered, and this was my first time having covered, but imho the covered didn’t really add anything, and I would have actually preferred it without. But there was a Rockstar on duty and the HB came out so well cooked, kind of folded over almost like a little omelet. Overall 9/10 dinner.

Excellent single ticket in front row of the loge for 7/7 West Palm for just 86

Fantastic single seat at Kravis that I’m surprised was priced so low. Hoping to sell for face value of 86. Ready for Ticketmaster transfer now.

How to listen to the “Magnifica Humanitas” encyclical?

I have a very long drive in a few days, and I’m very interested in listening to the encyclical in full. (In English) Does anyone know a good way to do that?

Anyone happen to have THREE tix for Red Rocks?

I’m in possession of a pair, but another friend decided she wants to fly in and sit with us, and I’d love to be able to accommodate without having to sit in the last row lol. I’d be open to buying 4 if needed and the seats aren’t terrible.

24 hours to see the Everglades for the first time

I got a day to kill in between stops in West Palm and Orlando and I thought I’d check out the Everglades. I’ve done no research at all and was hoping I could just crowdsource this lol Where’s a good place to stay (indoors)? Are the multiple entrances to the park or just one? What’s good to do in general? I’m not really into solo paddling, so that’s not on my agenda.

Have you ever teleported to a Waffle House?

Just curious! People act like I’m crazy for teleporting to a Waffle House, but I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s done it. Anyway, I suddenly have a lot more free time on my hands and I was thinking of writing a book on my experiences. Thoughts?

Has anyone ever seen a Muni metro train skip an underground stop bc no one requested a stop?

I assume they’re on full autopilot underground and wouldn’t be able to skip if they wanted to? But idk just wondering if anyone has seen it happen
