when watching the world cup on bbc one many times i’ve noticed these little windows that pop up saying all sorts of things, including “watch this match in UHD on iPlayer”. it sounds nice. so sure i go ahead and open iPlayer but where’s my uhd stream? quality options literally only have “highest available”, but i never actually know what quality the stream is in, and I feel like it never has actually been 4k…

i just switched browsers and went back to firefox, first thing i did was to install ublock. i tried to sign in into reddit, i got the "password wrong error", which i found funny considering i was sure i put the correct password a bunch of times, i ended up resetting it, issue persisted, but the moment i turned ublock off i was able to login...

so um, this happened. i currently am not able to connect to any server. im not even logged in in ten devices, but even if i was I WOULD BE ABLE TO TELL, cuz YOU CANT SEE THE DEVICES YOURE SIGNED INTO FROM YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

im nowhere near having connected to servers too often, i had to reconnect a few times so that i could watch the world cup but that's it. it's crazy.

i js wanna get opinions i know itll probably fix itself but still seems too harsh if there are actual connection attempt limits this low.

as there’s some attention here, i must say: for some unknown reason they have literally forgotten to add the file attachment option in iMessage.

this is the first time in my life that a developer beta update has had better performance than a a public version of ios. i was never a big fan of ios26, but my oh my, this update literally makes me wanna cry.

I CAN FREAKING ANSWER A CALL FROM A FLOATING WINDOW AND THE PHONE DOESNT BUG.

don’t get me started on the extra functions they’ve added.

but it really has improved the phones performance so much, to a level i’d never except. it seems really as if they just wanted to fix every single little tiny detail with with this update. like how when sending media on imessage you now get an uploading blue bar below each video and not one bar on top you’re not sure what means, or suggesting you a paste on the autocorrect space the keyboard takes, just like gboard has been doing for years now.

there are certainly things i forget but overall it’s amazing. yeah.
