Does doordash take into consideration what the order is before assigning multiple orders to the same person?

For example lets say i order ice cream for the fam as a treat. First its gonna be 60+ dollars which is ridiculous enough but ice cream is a time limited item.

Why would doordash offer that driver another order? The ice cream will be melted and the customer just going to complain to doordash anyways.

Just sucks bc ive had so many bad expiriences with these delivery apps. I even tip extremely well for my orders so that maybe the driver will give me preference, atleast when its something like ice cream.

Its kinda the same for cold drinks, like order a slushie with your food, its literal liquid by the time it gets to you. Just with the cost of these services you would expect an A+ expirience and very often its the opposite of that.

No hat at all to the drivers just want to see what i can be doing differently with my orders maybe.

Why is this model transparent?

Hi all,

Purchase this model from an artist and want to 3D print it. Im trying to export it as a 3MF using this tool - https://extensions.blender.org/add-ons/threemf-io/

I am struggling big time lol I don't know much about blender, beyond the basics. I just want to print this model, in color like the texture shows.

Im getting all kinds of wierd results after following the diredctions for the above linked extension and I think its stemming from this torso being transparent.

How do i fix this? Or does anyone have a good process to get this exported into a multi-color, pre-painted 3mf?

▲ 3 r/suspension+1 crossposts

Can someone tell me the name of this suspension part?

This kit is for a 986 if that matters. Is that just the piece that slides into the strut mount? The photo is kind of confusing since it shows the strut mount with that piece in it already, assuming that is what it is.

TY!

Help with understanding the trains/transportation.

Hey all,

I am planning on taking a trip in september. I am flying into London Gatwick, is it easy to hop on a train and get closer to city center?

What is the website I can buy train tickets at? (For example for americans its usually amtrak)

The real question is tho we are going to birmingham for the second half of our trip. We have a flight same day as checkout, in birmingham, the leaves from london gatwick at 2pm. Would we be able to get from birmingham, to london gatwick, by train and arrive in time?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, look forward to visiting!

Hey all i have a 2000 986 non S, 100k miles

I have it at the mechanics initially just for some AC issues i didnt feel like dealing with.

Ive used this indy before for my other cars but this is the first time hes working on this car.

Had him look it over while it was there and he came back with a 5k estimate.

This would include:

Valve cover gasket

Replacing multiple rotted evap hoses

Replacing the AC evaporator behind the dash (this is a dash out job, we are using OEM replacements and its the whole assembly hes replacing, not just the evaporator)

Repairing the immobilizer (currently the door locks dont work)

Oil change

Honestly i can do the valve cover, oil change and hoses myself. The AC evaporator i could do but am willing to pay someone else as i dont really have the time and considering its a dash out job, its probly a bitch and a half.

The immobilizer issue i already looked into myself and i believe there is some water on it under the seat.

Anyways is 5k alot for all that? I dont mind spending the money, i love this car. I just wanted to get some extra opinions
