Vyvanse + Short Release

So today was kinda the last time I'll see my psychiatrist since he'll be sending a letter for my regular GP to be authorised to give me a script (unless I change medication/lifestyle/Required check in).

I take Vyvanse 50mg, been 3 years since taking vyvanse and I was originally on 40mg but I think it's been maybe like a year of me officially 50mg (old psychiatrist had me try to dose 50mg and drink like 4/5's of it in water lol during 40mg shortages... I sucked at the math).

I have 2 days off a week and when I'm sick I don't take my meds or I've take a couple days off work during my short shift week for my bday, figured I can take a break then to help with tolerance (I do shift work 12hr shifts/84hr fortnightly).

I mentioned to my psych how I do dancing, and only annoying thing is my medication is worn off by then and at work I still get my stuff done... then I think that triggered him to suggest dexamphetamine if I would like to trial it for my work days only.

I do notice when I am lower in energy but I'm used to whatever I have in me left to finish off my day if that makes sense? Plus previously I did think about asking, but my concern would be it'd be too much and I don't actually need them.

I decides when he suggested it to get them to see if it does helps me for the evening at work, cause it's kinda been more difficult for me since I've been doing a larger workload and I've been picking up the slack from some folks on the other rotation... if or else fails I will be on a medication cleanse for a week anyways and I'll give them to the pharmacy (at least that's what I heard of disposing medication).

Anyways I wanted to ask is anyone else on a high dose like 50mg vyvanse and takes 5mg Dexamphetamine (or any short release)? How did you feel afterwards with it wearing off and also how is it with regulating it all?

Returning to pole after septoplasty/turbinate reduction

When did you feel like you could return to pole? Also when did you feel like you were 100%?

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks post op. I'm returning to the studio, but I'll probably do pracs or classes where I don't have to go to crazy cause I still can't breathe through the nostril that was more deviated.

My nose is also sensitive still like someone accidentally bumped it or I get stuck putting a shirt on and there's this achy tenderness.

Online it says 6 weeks is out of the danger zone, but it's honestly hard to get intel online on pole dancers (not much info) and I guess what stages and types of choreography you'd do after.

It's just my happy place, I guess it'll make me focus on doing more with heel choreography (I'm still learning), but I was so excited to progress to intermediate from being a beginner babe 😭✨️

Any first hand experience I'd appreciate 🥰 seeing my regular doc tomorrow so at least he can tell me how my healing is.

Possible First Date...

Bit of background of my experience: I (27), came out as bisexual to my boyfriend at the time (ex now) when I was 22... I was super drunk and it was at a strip club where I won a bet.

Ever since breaking up with him, I was consoled by a friend who is also bi and was affirming to me about my experiences before him, kissing straight girl friends super drunk (or making out).

With my negative experiences with men, equated that I felt safer with having those connections because I was attracted to someone secure with themselves rather than what body parts they had.

I also had a drunk experience travelling to France once and a fellow bi from a different tour (same company) realised I was bi and we had our messy, awkard and both being first timers ONS.

Now, I've matched with someone on hinge, who goes to the same dance studio as me and I have no clue if it'sa date or friendly meet up and if I make an idiot of myself. I am even questioning any attraction I've ever had. Despite the unpacking with a fellow bi *guy* on hinge also who helped me I understand that I may of had a thing for straight girls/unavailability. Which I hate about me. **also she does a more experienced class once a week which is why we haven't met**

My experience overall in dating apps are: majority men recommendations and the slim amount women I do see/swipe, obviously have not liked me back, are looking for a unicorn or are poly **which isn't my thing but I respect them**

Any word of advice? We do have plans loosely made and I am planning on telling her somehow... I'm just very nervous dating for the first time ever now.

**unasked for edit: there was a point in my life where I had crushes on close friends who I would regularly make out with drunk when I was younger and would shove it so down in my brain saying "you are straight and like men" despite me being supportive of the community, because I'd question if I'm just making it up or my life experiences has brought me up to question if I really do feel that or is my brain tricking me (not out of hate, but I guess imposter syndrome?).

Hey hey,

So I had Septoplasty and Power Turbinates (which I was unaware of until day of) on Tuesday. My surgeon didn't give me any packing and I'm clear to wear my glasses.

I got given a drip pad, and ordered more since I realised how often I've had to change it, even fot minor gross instances that happen after a sneeze.

I'm still just using the saline spray (told to use it for 5 days then use the rinse), and I just wanted to ask to see when people decided to stop using the drip pad? Because I've noticed every time my drixine spray "wears off" I have a very bloody/thick friend and it's never ending, even when I spray saline on it. So lil paranoid to to have it on even though I'm not bleeding like I was after surgery.
