Sunday announcement s

With the new changes happening to the Sunday schedule next month, the Bishop called me to be over getting announcements out to everyone, and also updating the ward website. He wants me to have a "living document" where all the different organizations can add their announcements, along with a space for the bishopric to list the sacrament meeting program info so I can then create a program and also list all the announcements on the back. My questions are...

  1. Is Google docs user friendly enough to use as the document everyone will be adding info to? (We tried sheets, but you have to have the app on your phone, and I doubt that will go over well)

  2. Is there an easier way to get announcements from everyone? I really don't want to send a mass text, and then transfer all the announcements to my computer to create the program each week.

  3. Does anyone know if the ward websites linked to the tools app have any customization options? As far as I know they only pull info from your ward calendar and create a page out of it. I'd love to be able to just post a word doc with all the info.

How do I get the new garments?

Does anyone in the SL valley have any tips on how I can get my hands on any of the new garments? I dawdled and didn't get any when they first came out and now they are just always out of stock, even online. Are they still making them?

Hot spot on bathroom floor

I live in a slab on grade house. Felt a hotspot on the bathroom floor a couple weeks ago. My husband did some youtubing, checked the meter, and found the hot water is leaking about 1 to 3 gallons an hour. We found documentation from when the house was built that said the pipes are buried in road gravel type material, covered with foam, and then covered in cement. We've had a few companies come look at it, and their suggestions are all over the place, I don't know what to do. The first guy said the only thing to do is repipe the whole house because we have PB pipes. That would be nice, but he quoted us about 17 to $20,000, and we definitely can't afford that. Another guy said he would jackhammer the cement floor in the bathroom, but I'm pretty worried about dust and mold exposure. Third guy suggested we go in through the floor in the utility closet right next to the bathroom, and tunnel over to it. Seems like that would be really tricky to find the leak when you can't see exactly where it is because it's in a different room? And how would you pack all the dirt back in afterwards?. My budget can only afford a quick fix right now, but am I crazy for not repiping? There have been two other leaks in the pipes before we moved in. Thanks for any tips
