Hi everyone! I’m 42 years old, very overweight, and was newly diagnosed with sleep apnea. I will be using an APAP machine tomorrow. My doctor can prescribe Zepbound for sleep apnea and I meet the requirements, and my insurance will cover it specifically for sleep apnea. What can I say to my doctor, if anything, about being prescribed for this in tandem with a machine? Does this happen? I’m not even sure that this is the right place to ask tbh. Ideally I would like to get on it as soon as possible because I’ve heard the side effects take some time to deal with (I’m a teacher and don’t want to be potentially starting zepbound the first week of school, if you catch my drift).
