What to do for natives and soil quality?

Half of my lawn in the backyard is bare soil. It is under a tree but gets morning sun. What kind of natives or other things could I plant to help pollinators but also soil quality? I know it's a small thing but trying to be green and eco friendly where I can. Was thinking clover but would love smarter people's suggestions. Thank you!

Be wary of DA Breakup Coaches

My feed is sending me a lot of dismissive avoidant break up coaching accounts. A lot of them are actually quite helpful and have great messages - but be careful what they try to sell you.

I liked what one guy was saying and there was an open invite to try his online group. I clicked the link and was honestly disgusted by what I saw; tons of messaging about how you can win them back, how he has like one past client who is married to their DA, how to be alluring again so they want you, etc. It is absolutely disgusting how he is trying to exploit people at their lowest with promises of "yOu cAN wIn THEm bACK."

That is not what we should be focusing on. We need to focus on our own healing, our own needs, and not feeding this cycle and pattern of abuse. Look at the person they proved they were, not the potential they sold you in the beginning of the relationship. Please do not entertain any group or person that tries to sell you something like that. They are preying on your emotional state to grab your money. Protect and prioritize yourself.

Wishing you the best!

Sardines from the Philippines

Technically jarred but I am loving these. Currentlt enjoying them over rice with a little furikake. They are slightly spicy but not overwhelmingly so. The bite on the sardine is good too. And not super fishy which is usually a drawback for me. For context, my go-to is the Season brand. I've had Fish Wife before and did not enjoy that.
