I love Deep SCI-FI, and I know there are some great reads out there that I am oblivious to.

I just got my AHCCS (Medicaid) insurance and need to find an in patient program for alcohol and drug addiction. I’m hoping to find one that is coed so I can get my wife in as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Everything I see online is way too nice to accept my insurance. 🙏

Let’s say it’s 1000 years in the future and they have perfected teleportation on the consumer level.
But the way the device works is: The first device (starting location) in a matter of milliseconds completely breaks your body down atomically, and measures and calculates every atom and exactly how they are arranged. Doing this obviously kills you instantly and without any pain, or notion of it ever happened.
Then that data is sent to the destination device, which recreates you atom by atom in a few minutes. You awaken refreshed and it feels like you only blinked your eyes and now your here.
If this technology was perfected and not expensive, would you use it? Would you lose something in the process? Are we more than just a cluster of atoms?
