This is all the broccoli I got in this meal. It’s the Peruvian Shrimp meal with broccoli. And…..that’s literally all the broccoli they gave me.
The flavor is good, but where’s the rest of my meal?
Hopes aren’t high. Any chance they’ll still be good? Or are my lunches for the week going straight into the trash? 🫤

The crime: I said “ahchoo” in a monotone voice while she was sniffing my hand. Result: one flying wig, followed by this mean side eye. Fizzgig was not amused. (I was.)
He doesn’t understand why I won’t give him some key lime pie cheesecake. (I let him have some whipped cream)
Hey all! So I’ll just get down to the nitty gritty here. One of our cats, Noodles, has been having trouble with respiratory stuff for a while.
Noodles is 9 years old, DSH. About 2 years ago, she started having a stuffy nose. Of course, we took her to the vet, they said it’s allergies, gave her a shot, sent her home. The problem cleared up for a while, then it came back, and it came back worse. We took her back to the vet, were told it’s feline herpes, given some meds, and sent home. The meds fixed her up.
But AGAIN, the problem kept coming back, and coming back, and coming back. This year, it’s worse. She’s constantly snotty, has very congested breathing, is isolating herself, and not coming out to eat. She was taken to the vet a couple months ago (May), diagnosed with pneumonia, and sent home with a 3 week course of antibiotics and an appetite stimulant. The vet also said there was a nodule (or something like that) on her lung that was probably asthma, but they said just to monitor it. (I don’t like that.)
Again, the meds did the trick, she bounced back, became her usual self. Then this week, she’s doing it again. Constantly snotty, very congested, isolating, not coming out to eat.
My concerns: the vet does not seem to be worried about any of this. They just slap on a bandaid, send her home. I get that she’s getting older, but this isn’t Noodles. The Noodles I know is all about food, loves being around us and her brother and the other cats, even the dog.
I think we should find another vet, my husband says we wait and see. But if this is treatable, I want to see a treatment plan. But if not, I’m ready to see her not suffer anymore and have the hard talk with the vet.
To anyone on this sub, what could this be? And what can we do to possibly help her?
This is Nutmeg. Someone please call the SPCA for her. No one gave her breakfast, and she is wasting away, as you can clearly see.

She is absolutely beautiful! And quite a chonk too. Full limbs, cloth body with a front body plate. Her eyes are a beautifully intense blue. And her grumpy little face means it’s mandatory I find the girliest possible outfits for her.
Can’t wait to take her places!

I was *trying* to capture a cute picture of Trouble sleeping. She looked so sweet and peaceful. But then she decided to violently nibble an itch at the very last second. So instead I got…..whatever this is. Jimmy is very disappointed in her. Or me, because I can’t stop laughing at this picture. I can’t tell.
