"Living with your parents is a privilege"

My uncle-turned-father-figure sent me an AI-narrated reel yapping about how living with your parents is a privilege and they sacrificed so much blah3x. This same man asked me why I wouldn't obey him when he ordered me to go get an MBA and I said I didn't want to (only have my thesis left but had to drop out due financial/mental health issues + we don't have the money for an MBA anyway + I don't fucking want to). Everything is "for the family" but I'm starting to think it's actually for his ego.

Of course I'm fucking aware of how much was sacrificed over the years, I'm not blind and contrary to whatever he thinks I'm not some asshole child. Not perfect in the slightest, but I'm damn sure that I did the best I could to be a good kid all this time.

I'll be 29 in a few days. I'm not a bum, I try to find jobs and finish my thesis and upskill and help out around the house because, no shit, you're supposed to keep your fucking home in order. I don't want a goddamn MBA, and I don't want to pump out 3-5 kids to cement a legacy that we don't have.

This vent's been stewing for a while. I've been pretty busy with my part-time job and him sending me that reel was the last straw. Why I even bothered to check what he sends me is on me. I just gotta breathe a little then I can clock in to work.

Will talking to a client about possible job go well?

Without going into too many details, I have to talk to this client about a job because someone (let's call him D) recommended me (which is great!) but said I was an "expert". Dear reader, I am entry-level, and since I was not privy to this conversation I don't know just how much D puffed up my image. I'd love to be able to help this possible client with the job, but I'd like correct any misconceptions that this possible client may have about my abilities. (I had no idea about any of this happening until D called me in a rush this morning telling me to call the client and talk to him about the job. Literally woke up this morning because D called talking about how this job is so important and so on and so on.)

I'm L1, Jupiter in Leo still kinda conjunct the sun and combust in the 9th house. I take this as me being willing to learn more about how to do my work well. I like the cybersecurity/IoT parts of the tech world and it's definitely not entry-level, so I have plenty to learn. I'm optimistic about my ability but it's no question that I have plenty of work ahead of me, Jupiter expanding my optimism and the amount of effort needed to achieve what I want.

The client and the job are ruled by Mercury in Cancer in the 8th house. Wasn't sure whether I should look at L7 for the client or L10 for the job itself, but since Mercury rules both I can say that the job is very very important for the client. Not retrograde, which sounds like a relief since the client and the job are related to cybersecurity and IoT. Mercury retrograde's effect on tech might be more pop culture than traditional astrology but I'm not 100% sure, I get the feeling it's important so I made a note of it. Something intense and hidden in the 8th house re: the client and the job but I don't know what that intense and hidden thing is.

Jupiter in Leo and Mercury in Cancer don't touch via aspect and are peregrine. No translation or collection of light that I can see either, unless we're allowed to use the outer planets which I doubt. Moon in Taurus squares Jupiter, it's supposed to be stable. Though I guess I do feel very stable in that I don't like when people are given unrealistic expectations of me and especially without my consent, if consenting to such a thing is really possible. Overall, I think it could go either way depending on how I explain the situation to the client. Based on the chart, what else is there to consider about the situation?

(No, I really don't think I should be one cleaning up any misunderstandings. D should not have said I was an "expert" when I'm not, and honestly D should be the one clearing this up with the client but alas, I currently don't trust D to sit the right way on a toilet seat.)

Trouble pressing strings with pinky

Not a major issue, just gets hard to play especially when I gotta reach for a note. 1st pic is what happens when my pinky finger has my ring finger for support, 2nd pic is when I use it alone. It doesn't hurt but it does feel stiff after a while when I do practice exercises. Is there anything I can do to strengthen it a little? I never broke it or anything, that's just how my pinky is but I wanna work around it so I can play better.

Talking stage/s

I'm curious, does anyone else still talk to just one person at a time in this age of endless options? I like it better when I can focus on one person at a time during the talking stage, but a lot of the time it feels like a somewhat naive approach nowadays, even more so when the people I end up talking to are half a world away (very lesbian, happy pride lol) and are more likely to pick someone geographically closer.

Would love to hear your thoughts, maybe I'm being too rigid or too hard on myself.
