Going to my first ever festival to see them. Not sure if I have what it takes to barricade

Hello all

TLDR: Do you think you ever enjoyed a show less because you were not super close to the stage? Or do you think my experience would be "less fun" if I'm not close to the stage?

Details: I'm flying to another country in a few days just to see them live and I'm super excited!

But I don't think I have what it takes to barricade. Although I linked with some fans online, I'm actually going solo and I don't think I can stand there for HOURS without going to the restroom. Plus the festival I'm attending is in Madrid and most probably the weather is going to be crazy hot. I'm afraid if I don't hydrate well, I might get sick.

I'm not sure if I should push my limits and try to barricade, or at least go as early as possible and stay in the main stage (even though I'm not a fan of some of the previous bands.)

But I'm afraid of enjoying the concert less than I normally would because I'm not close to the stage.

Part of me thinks I should do my best to at least see them from the front rows because I'm spending a lot of time, money and energy to see them and it should be perfect. The other part of me thinks I will probably have the best time regardless of my distance to the stage. So I cannot decide and I need some perspective...

Many thanks 👉🏻👈🏻

Looking for fun and cozy shows with women and queer characters

I want to watch something cozy, fun and comforting. I love old sitcoms and I also love Sex and the City but I want something focused on women and/or queer characters (happy pride!!)

I'm currently watching Heartstopper and I really like it but I would also love something more on the comedy side

How do you unwind after work?

Hello all, I'm new to reddit and this is my first post! I hope I'm doing everything right.

I think the question is very clear but here is some background:

I used to watch a lot of short content and I was having a lot of fun while watching. My recommendations were always entertaining and funny. This was my way of unwinding after work.

Although it was fun for me, I'm very aware of the effects of social media on the brain and psychology. I attempted to quit many times in the past but something always brought me back to keep using it.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to stop messing with my brain chemistry and I quit using Instagram and I stopped watching Youtube shorts/videos. (I never used Tiktok).

My personal life is actually kind of occupied with regular workouts and I also spend time with my friends. However I'm a little lost about what to do with my time at home now. Especially after a long and stressful day at work, without the distraction of social media, I kind of don't know how to unwind and I'm looking for some inspiration.
