Curriculum rabbit hole

We know there's a LOT of options and it's very overwhelming.

My daughter can not just sit and do a workbook. She has ADHD & possible Dyslexia. She has extreme task avoidance when it comes to doing something she knows is going to be hard or boring.

We've tried a number of curriculums - virtual, workbooks, hands-on - and I am feeling a little lost.

If I put a worksheet in front of her with 10 math problems on it, she completely shuts down.

If I play The Fidget Game company math games, she will do 50+ math problems in one sitting without any hesitation.

My question is... does anyone not use a "formal" curriculum, but instead a checklist of sorts, of what their child should know this year? And check it off as its learned through real-life skills, games, using math manipulatives, etc?

BYL.

We started using Build Your Library level 2. So far, some of the books are great, but a lot of it feels unnecessary. It feels like a lot of jumping from subject to subject. It feels more chaotic than it needs to be.

That said, we are LOVING The Tale of Despereaux, and I've been adding in activities related to the book, not listed in BYL.

It's kind of making me want to just do that...

We do daily LA & Math.

But then I'm thinking I want to find a great book and do activities/ copywork relating to the book we're reading.

History... idk, perhaps we could study the time period of whatever book we choose?

Science- my child loves science so we're always doing experiments, reading about science etc.

Thoughts?

This is my first full year of homeschooling, so I still feel so new at it!

Is this enough? I want to add- my daughter has ADHD - inattentive type and possible Dyslexia. We pulled her out of 2nd grade earlier this year because she was so "behind," and she started to feel guilty, anxious etc.

We had been thinking about homeschooling anyway, and I'm so glad we went through with it!

What to do!!! Selling house advice?

Our mobile home in NH is on the market. We have about $50k in debt we want to pay off upon selling our house (including car loan, old credit card debt etc). We also owe about $60k left on the mortgage. We'd be left with about $60-65k in pocket.

Our credit will likely take a few months to increase. We are currently pre-approved for another mobile home loan- but honestly don't want to move into another one, especially in a co-op.

Do we sell ours, and move into a temporary rental until our credit boosts enough to then buy a house? Or just move into another co-op?

Has anyone ever sold their house, then rented, then bought a home? Is it worth the chaos?

I truly hate moving, but this is a way for us to completely get out of debt.

And before anyone lectures... we got into debt in the first place because we had a few extremely rough years, which can happen to anyone.

We are currently paying more in debt month to month than what our current mortgage is! I am tired of feeling like we're just drowning in debt.

Mobile Home on own land NH

Hi! We are interested in having a mobile home on our own land in Strafford County, NH.

We would be using NH Community Loan Fund, up to $300k total for land, well/septic etc, and the actual mobile home.

How possible would it be?!

Just call me slick

Ever since my hysterectomy last November (kept ovaries), my face gets so extremely oily. I'll wash my face, and within an hour it looks like this again!

I've tried several over-the-counter products, and I've tried products prescribed by my dermatologist.

I eat healthy. I lost 200 lbs within the past 2 years.

I don't know what else to try! What the heckkkk!
